Is a deep low voice for a guy a good thing?

well I'm only 16 and every girl I have dated and nearly every outgoing girl I've met has said they loved my voice hahaha but yeah anyway I was thinking what's so special about my voice? do you girls like deeper voices or what haha obviously a high pitched voice that sounds like a chick isn't hot but yeah...whats your opinions!

If you want to be able to compare, try recording your voice, then replaying it.

When I think masculine, I think low voice. It's just one thing girls can't do (...Well, not to the extent a guy could.) I bet you know how movies use deep sounds for emphasis, hardcore explosions, and just as an all-around tension-building technique? Same concept. Low voices say "power". If you're harsh, it's intimidating. If you're soft, it's like, "I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm gonna protect you." A low voice gives you presence – if you handle it right, that’s a good thing.

Of course, you’ve gotta have a great personality to back it up if you REALLY want presence.

Here’s just a random thought – warning: may have no supporting logic. What are girls renowned for loving to do? Talking. Girls in general love conversation. When your presence-filled tone answers, we can feel it physically, and that makes you feel a lot closer.

And then there’s just that low vibration-buzz feeling that makes you feel warm inside. :)

To answer your question – depends on what you’re saying…? In general, girls are attracted to guys with low voices… personally, I wouldn’t decide my opinions off of that, but it’s a definite turn on. All my favorite songs have that deep-tone masculine touch.

Oh hecks no bruh!!! you can rap with a voice like that but you'll do 10x better with soul, r&b, poetry. going slow with your lyrics and toning the voice to quiet music allows the woman to listen to and feel the lyrics and slow jam beat while taking it all in at the same time. you singing songs like barry white (if you can go that low), ginuwine, ne-yo, r. kelly, poetry and other slow jam music, while speaking your lyrics in her hear. I SWEAR it will overwhelm the girl and make her melt!

I guess I am ok with deep voices but I feel really intimidated for some reason if the guy has a really really really deep voic. there was a guy in one of my plant bio courses and his voice was unbelievably scary deep and I actually didn't like it so much. I don't like high pitch male voices either. I prefer something in between.

i think deep voices are pretty sexy to be honest :P they're just really really nice to listen too. Its more masculine and it makes girls feel kind of safer. Trust in that, its a very very very good thing :)

Sorry I can't name anyone famous who has a deep voice, but it makes sense that you can't name someone who sounds like you. We hear our voices differently than everyone else does

Dude, take advantage of it. Having a high voice bites. Most girls aren't attracted to guys who could pass for chicks with low voice...trust me I'm 22 and my voice ain't getting any lower.
