Hello there :)
This is a common thing for internet dating - it's all too easy to hide behind a computer or a phone and text or email but the art of communication and confrontation are things some guys are just shocking at. I couldn't make a straight yes or no vote as his answer doesn't point to either specifically. Chances are he's dating others and seeing what he likes about each girl. "Soon hopefully" could be him working out plans with you or others around his life schedule, if the date went well, maybe he enjoyed it but is being a lazy gitt about it, maybe plotting what to do. If the date was hum drum, chances are he's run off and on the prowl elsewhere. When going on a date, clarify how much you loved the time, fun etc, then confirm the next outing before a kiss seals the deal. No outing, no pash! That's been my rule. From the time of your last contact, wait a week as you continue your usual weeks schedule, if nothing by the end of a full week, arrange lining up dates with other guys. Don't text him, don't ask him how his day is or about his plans for your next date. If he's interested, he will dive for you. Let me know how it goes :)

NEVER ask a guy if you want to see me again. I know you want to, and that you're trying to move the relationship along etc but, that's like a death sentence to a guy. That was your first mistake, actually your real first mistake was meeting a guy online. You don't know with this world, who it could have been. What you did was probably very wrong. The only thing you can hope for now is that he does call you for a second date. I certainly wouldn't if I were him
