I wouldn't call it "stalking" but of course. When entering into a serious relationship, or even contemplating the idea, why would you avoid learning crucial details about the person? Social media and the internet in general contains a vast wealth of information about each of us! It would be negligible and a damn shame to let it go to waste.
Much like a potential employer will do a background check, so do I! It might take 5-10 minutes of hopping on Google and punching in a name. Anything more than that seems a little unhealthy so I keep it to a one time and very brief ordeal lol.
I definitely benefited from this recently even. Learned some pretty damn disturbing and poorly kept secrets within the first 30 seconds of tossing a name in Google. A bullet dodged that would have otherwise smoked me big time.

Well it depends because not necessarily you trying stalk her but her Instagram and Facebook allows a you to see a little into her social life and you can find out what type of girl she is or vice versa. For example if you look at her Instagram and she took a picture at wine bistro. What have you learned? Now you know she likes to drink if you like her and if the opportunity presents itself why not surprise her with a bottle of her favorite wine but I wouldn't due out season because it would like out right weird if you no things about her that isn't common knowledge or blatantly obvious. Their is a time and place for everything.

Yes, but it has to be someone I really want to be with in a relationship. When I was 17-23, I used to look at any attractive girls' Facebooks. Now I don't but that's because what I'm looking for in a woman has changed.
I downloaded their photos and occasionally masturbate. But what do you mean by "stalk"? If it means "downloading girls' photos and occasionally masturbating", then yes; but if it means "literally saying some sexually disgraceful, explicit and harassing words", then no.
Only if she is from my area or if she is an acquaintance or if I had any online interaction with her before. No time for researching all the pretty faces in the internet
Gathering information is a good idea. Stalking is wrong, creepy and probably criminal. There is a difference.
The social networking sites are their for this purpose only "stalking" so yeah we all stalk someone we want to know abt!
It depends on various factors. But I wouldn't call it stalking, it's more like looking through her profile to get to know her a bit better. It's not like we're masturbating to their photos or hiding in the bush behind their house, that's stalking…lol
I've never Facebook stalked or stalked a woman at all.
I look at her profile a couple times and like a few things but I don't stalk them longer than like 5 minutes really.
Yes, but not nearly as much as girl's do
