Reasons men disappear after sex?

I know the obvious ones like that was all they were looking for in the first place no matter how long it took to get it. What are some other reasons?

This is a major difference between women and men. Both genders must assess their potential partners to make sure they are compatible, right?

Well girls assess their partner, and decide wether or not he is compatible, before having sex with him. When a woman has sex with a man, it means she is already committed to him.

When it comes to guys, sex is PART of their assessment. Guys will think "she is perfect in every except one. Time to test it out" That's when he decides to have sex with her. Sex for a man is the last test, and the deciding factor. If he is satisfied with the sex. He stays. If he is not, he leaves.

Then of course there is the classic case of "he was only after sex". This is why women should wait a couple months before having sex with a guy. If he is only after sex, he will eventually give up, because to him, several months of dating a girl isn't worth one orgasm, i he is gonna leave anyway. If you wait several months, you weed out all the guys who are only after sex. If you give in after a few dates, your giving him what he wants without even making him work for it. Then once he has what he wants, he leaves. But if you wait several months, and he still sticks around - then you know he is genuinely into you.

Thanks for the feedback but that logic doesn't really make sense as for the woman's part. It doesn't really matter if he was/ wasn't in it just for sex if he splits either way. It doesn't take men 2 months to figure out if they like someone and time is valuable so why would I want to play a game of chicken with either of these men? Maybe he really liked me and the sex it bad so we part ways. I've invested much more time when I could have tested the waters and moved on a month ago. You did sort of help me sort this out though. The only reason to wait would be because the woman doesn't feel ready. Because it doesn't determine the outcome from the sound of it on the mans part either way it wasn't meant to be. I guess my thinking is you've done all this foot work to get her into bed so unless the sex is horrible why not hit it a few more times then move on. I mean unless she is really sexually unappealing but that doesn't stop much men.

Perhaps because they're too afraid of being honest with a girl and telling her that he was only after sex. I think those guys like being jerks, but not when they're being confronted about being jerks. But maybe some other guys are afraid of the experience and they will emberrased so they leave. Or maybe one guy likes the girl so much that he's afraid of it.

Yeah the one you mentioned would be my first thought. Or they are also seeing/sleeping with someone else and prefer them. Or they didn't feel a strong connection, wanted to test out the sex but didn't like it so they just bail.

I think some would be fear of commitment, the girl's body wasn't exactly in the best shape, lacked hygiene, or the way she is during sex.
