Girl is very dry and short with me through texts, but in person and on the phone it's different, why?

Whenever I text this girl its always one word answers or something like "lmaooo ok". The thing is that when I see her in class, she is on the phone texting the whole time. So I automatically think she's just like that when she texts me. Now when we hang out or when we talk on the phone, she's very friendly and flirty. She even calls me cute nicknames and doesn't want to get off the phone. Am I worrying too much? Why would she act different through texts than on the phone. I mean, I know she texts people a lot. I can't help but think that she's texting some other guy. We are just friends right now, but I like her, and she USED to like me a lot. I am not sure how interested she is right now. Can someone maybe explain this behavior? Thanks

some girls just aren't into texxting or communicating with certain people that way. It could also be that when your texting her she's busy, or that she has nothing else to say. Don't read into it to much. Maybe, before you text, smoke a joint, then her texts won't seem as dry (((: ahahaha.

It most likely doesn't mean anything. I am like that too, I'm just not a text person. I'd rather talk to someone in person than just texts. When she is constantly texting she probably gives those 2 or 3 worders to everyone, probably why she uses so many texts lol

Maybe that's just how she texts. Maybe it's not her being cold with you, just because you don't say a 10 word sentence - doesn't mean you're blowing someone off.
