Okay so me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost a year now and I believe we both feel really safe and comfortable in our relationship. To be honest he's the best guy I've ever dated and he says it about me all the time.
Recently however, he did something that kind of set me on the edge because I don't know how to take it and I don't know if I'm over reacting. So he's had this friend named Katherine for a really long time, since before he knew me. I've heard about her from time to time and he's always just said that they're pretty close. Apparently he'd seen her nudes when they got leaked around their Highschool a while ago but he said it was nothing and he was just trying to help her out. It really didn't bother me too much because Highschool is Highschool, it was a while ago, and I trust him with all my heart. Also, he jokingly told me about a funny dream he had that she was in a while ago but it wasn't much to recite. So recently we bumped into her and they talked for a little while. They act just like close friends and she was really sweet but when we were leaving he said "see you later K" and "K" or "baby K" has always been what he's called me. (My names Kayleigh) Im not really sure if I should be as concerned as I am about this.. at first I thought maybe he messed up and called her my name because I had literally forgotten her name started with a K too. Hahah. So I brushed it off as him being around me so much that my name is stuck in his mind. I guess that's better than him calling me some other chicks name. Then I remembered her name and realized that wasn't a mess up, he was calling her my name. The one I associate with me and him. I'm just so overwhelmed and a little jealous. Any thoughts and do you think i should ask him about it? If so how? I really love him and I think that's why I'm bothered so much about this.. Thank you guys so much!<3
