I'm your same height and my boyfriend is 6'3. He has no problem with my height and he's absolutely stunning, but the reality is that I don't have a problem with my height and that probably contributes a great deal to my happiness and comfort with myself and thus, the comfort others have in me. Guys like girls who are comfortable in their own skin. If you are self-conscious and unhappy with some attribute of the way you look, particularly one you can't change, then you are the one that needs to do self-work and get yourself over that. If you are dwelling on whether or not a guy will like you because of your height, than you are taking out of consideration the fact that your height really isn't a big deal to guys and secondly, what will turn them off is your attitude towards yourself, which they consider far more important. I think your height comes at an advantage, the fact that you are cute and smaller just makes you more endearing and makes a man want to protect you and love you all the more. Just because you are small doesn't mean you are breakable. Don't confuse height with strength or weakness. You are strong and beautiful as you are and anyone will see that provided you do.
I hear you- I'm 22 and stretching the truth on my license when it says 5ft lol. I get the "cute, fragile" description as well and as much as it bugs me at times, I know I can't change it. I'm kind of a tomboy so I don't wear heels a lot, and usually all the other girls are wearing heels too so they're taller anyway lol. But honestly, I'm sure you're pretty regardless of your height and once you accept your height, it will cease to be an issue because if you're confident about it, everyone will look past it. (Maybe a few won't, but who wants to hang out with them anyway?) Besides, don't you think all the tall girls feel self-conscious about something? Or the guys around you are self-conscious about something? Of course they are! So, don't worry about your height, focus on the things you like about yourself and have some fun when you go out. If a tall guy dances with you, don't worry about how short you are, enjoy it and find out if you want it to go further than that. And it can happen, I have 2 mutual friends who just got married- she's 4'11" and he's 6'7". But you'll never find out unless you look past your height. Good luck hun!

Okay, being serious now. That's a tidy height, I know people around our age under the 4" 5(ish) mark., and they seem pretty happy with their height.
I'd say that the whole breakable thing would normally be a good thing to a load of guys - at least from reading their answers to questions like this as they like to think that they can protect their girl; or that their girl isn't to independent... looking.
A family friend rad in some magazine that people can still grow until their 20's and maybe slightly over. I have a feeling that that is true as my sister seems to be growing still and she's 22.
I'm the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm a guy who is 6ft 7" and for a long time was uncomfortable in my own skin. I got over it by accepting I am exactly the way I am intended to be. My soul chose the body that carries my spirit around and it was chosen for a very worthwhile and valid reason. Don't allow your thoughts to make you feel less than or inferior or affect your self esteem. Let go of these thoughts of being judged or too small in others eyes and accept yourself just the way you are, cos you are perfect as you are! when your mental attitude changes your whole outlook will appear different and guys will be queing up to date you when you love and accept yourself. good luck and be peaceful.
dont feel self conscience because your short...why would it matter if you are short and petite if your a nice girl and your cute? it wouldnt. I have never dated a really short girl but I wouldn't be like oh my god she's so small I love her, or she's so small I don't want to date her either..i would think shorter girls are small (obviously) and cuddly and yea breakable but as long I'm gentle, like every guy should be with any girl, it wouldn't be a problem. anyway shorter people live longer because it takes a shorter amount of time and less body energy to circulate your blood so you should be happy, smile (:

When a guy tells you, "you look so breakable" it means he's really thinking about what it would be like to have sex with you.
Also, I just read a post here about a girl that felt self conscience because she was tall and curvy. There are many many different body types out there. Every man has his preference as to which one he likes and doesn't like. There are PLENTY of guys out there for you to find the right one. If they don't like your short and petite, I can tell you that you'll have another one in line right behind them that will like it.
Be proud of who and what you are. Until you are happy with yourself, you can't expect anyone else to ever be happy with you either. It all starts with you.
I think petite is super-hot. Looking breakable only makes me want to protect her all the harder. Normal-sized girls can fend for themselves but small girls really make me want to put my arm around them and keep them safe. I guess you could say I have a fetish for small girls because I think they are the hottest of them all. :)

If its true that you are short, petite, and cute, then I would date you, lol. See I dated someone about 5'0 before. I think its great to go out in public and physically be together with such a difference in height. Plus I love to hug folks like yourself.

You should let that bother you, sure it can be a little awkward and uncomfortable at times its totally natural. But like you said most guys like short petite girls myself included. I think Being petite is totally cute.

Odd as it may sound, taller guys seem to have a thing for shorter girls. I'm over six feet and I like it when girls are five four and shorter (to a point obviously, when she's under four feet that's when things start to get a little awkward).
Don't worry about it, you have something that sets you apart and that'll get the attention of the right guy, you just need to change the way you look at.

That's not true at all. A lot of my really tall guy friends love petite girls and only date them. They think they're adorable. My one guy friend is well over 6 feet and his girlfriend barely comes up to his chest.

O MAN I know how you feel, I'm not even 5'2, but for some reason I look even shorter? I feel like if you aren't super skinny (I most definitely am not), being short makes you look stocky :( THE THING IS, that is just me, I've seen a lot of short girls that can work it, I'm sure you're one of them :)
