I told my crush I like him. What do I do?

So, I got really drunk yesterday and my crush was there to take care of me (He's my friend). I hugged and kissed his cheek a lot and I think he started to notice someting was going on.

By the end of the night, he was sober and I was super drunk, so I hugged him and I told him that I like him almost from the day that I met him (3 years ago). He just laughed and said "Hey, take it easy! You're my friend!".

I noticed that he was still super eager to take me home and he probably had plans to have sex with me. But in the end, my sister picked me up and he let me go.

I talked to him today and I noticed that he was behaving too confident about himself and being cocky. So I deduced that he thinks I'm obsessed and in love with him. I think that now that he knows, he might stop talking to me soon.

I really don't want to loose his friendship.

Maybe I should mention that he has a girlfriend, so I have NO intentions to be in a relationship with him until he is 100% single. Also I would NEVER have sex with him if he is in a relationship with someone else. I guess I just wanted him to know that I like him.

The point is: I told him that I like him while I was drunk. He basically rejected me (but still wanted to have sex with me). He probably thinks that I am super obsessed with him. And now, I don't want to loose his friendship.

What do I do? How should I act?

Should I be honest and clarify that I like him more as a friend and I'm not obsessed with him?
Or should I just ignore the whole thing, and risk our friendship forever?
Or should I definitely stop talking to him?
Or what?

Help me please! I don't want to loose my friend!

too bad you didn't bring it up when (or if) he was single a few years back :/. but at least you got it out there.

don't bring it up. that's how things get fucked up. i doubt he thinks you're obsessed with him too unless you were all over him when you were drunk and kept saying shit about how much you liked him. just pretend you blacked out. being drunk is the ultimate buffer if you do it right. if he brings it up, then you tell him. the other case is if he does start "avoiding you". ask him why and if he starts talking about it or beating around the bush about it, then talk about it and say it shouldn't change how y'all act towards each other. but until or if he breaks up with the girl, wait a little bit and then tell him and see where it goes from there.

It's normal that he acts different. He feels he's got the advantage. You like him, so he can choose. or at least feel appreciated. And that's a good confidence boost.
Since he's already acting weird, I would advise you to talk to him and say that it doesn't change anything. And if you plan on wait or some sort, add: because he's with someone and everything should stay as it always have been
