What does it mean when a guy asks for a massage?

I'm staying with some family friends. One of them is a guy who's 16, and I'm 15. He walked into his mom's bedroom shirtless where his mom and I were in at the time. He asked his mom for a massage, but his mom said no. Right after his mom said no, he asked me in front of his mom, which was really surprising because our parents are conscious of how we interact with each other since we're around the same age. His mom was mad at him for asking. What does it mean if a guy asks for a massage? What does it mean to a guy?

In this case its just because of the massage. He COULD be smart, knowing that you were in there, knowing that his mom would say no and use that as an excuse to ask you and pretends that he only asks cuz his mom said no, because he wanted to receive one from you in first place only so he gets touched by a girl he likes. Even if its not sexual, this can be nice. But this is just a guess, its most likely that he just wanted a massage.

In this specific occasion, I don't think it was more than what he asked, otherwise he wouldn't ask you in front of his mother. He was feeling sore and he simply needed a massage. That's all.
