Why do men like butts so much?

Why do they seem to really like butts? Especially in yoga pants like this picture shows.

there are several theories

1. if you were to sort of just look at the top portion of a butt or the upper half it could resemble cleavage. many theorists suggest men like cleavage (and breasts) because of a subconscious connection to breast feeding as children.

2. another theory is that similar to the animal world where female animals will often present their behind to a male to show sexual and reproductive availability male humans have a similar association with the butt. so a more shapely butt would appeal greater to that subconscious connection to sexual availability

It's mainly a black thing, as black culture has become more prevalent so has "booty", white kids in the 'burbs will like it if they think they should and it's on WSHH.

I can honestly say I don't know why I do, the only reason I can think of is that it might be encoded into the brain to feel that way.

I do know that my favoring a girls butt has been part of me since before I had sexual attraction to girls. Though I prefer skinny or athletic to fat ones like in the picture.
