There's this guy I've been talking to recently and I've noticed that everytime he talks to me and if I pay really close attention by looking at him while he talks then he ends up stuttering or jumbling up his words, but if I don't really look at him then he doesn't stutter at all. I've never had a problem with it, but I always feel bad for him when he does that so I try to lighten the mood by taking over the conversation or just by looking away. I just find it odd because he's not shy at all ( I am lol) and he's the most confident person I know so I don't understand.
i have a feeling he really likes you and stutters because he is so nervous around you. you say he is a confident person and he might be in some aspects of his life will in others he isn't he is very shy. if you want to help him try to find a way to help him relax so he can be his self around you. i bet he will not sittter as much

Well, could be that he gets nervous when you are around him and especially when you try to talk to him.
