Why does my boyfriend want to carry me?

I'm around 5'3 ish, not too fat not too skinny and my boyfriend is taller than me. He always wants to give me a piggy back ride or carry me in his arm. I'm scared I'm to heavy (fat) for him, whenever he about to pick me up I immediately move away. What should I do? And why does he want to carry me?

i feel you :D but make sure if he carries you... not in the awkward place and situation.. also make sure that you won't fall.. cause based on my experience... he insisted on carrying me and we both fell to the ground... it was really embarassing >.<
