I don't understand why she was trying to make me jealous when we just met?

We have only talked a couple of time and I seriously don't understand her, why would she make me jealous when we barely know each other?.

Well I picked her up in my geography class and she seemed interested, trust me.

Then the second time she was completely different, she was pretty cold and a little bit "shy" but mostly really cold to the point that I got the cold shoulder and utterly ignored . Then (this is the crucial part of my question) some guy came and then she just threw herself to him and hug him tightly, I know she wanted to make me jealous or at least tell me to f*** off; funny how the guy looked so surprised after what she did, he probably didn't expect anything like that.

Well there is something that I can't stand and its jealousy, I am not jealous person but I know she wanted to make me jealous. I don't understand why so fast though, I understand playing hard to get and all of that, but making someone jealous on purpose, is that really necessary?. I was OK MAYBE later but so early?. That gave me such a bad impression of her, that I actually don't like her anymore.

I would say it's one of two things. Either she is trying to push you into deeper emotions by tricking you into thinking she has all these guys that like her or she loves the feeling of guys being possessive and jealous of her so she is going to do things to invoke that jealousy.

Either way, if you aren't a jealous person, you probably won't have the best relationship because she wants someone who is going to do irrational things for the sake of "love". She wants a guy to pull her off another guy who she is hugging or storm out mad that she is with someone else. And if you don't tend to respond in jealousy it will just provoke her more and more to behave badly.

People like that are very, very needy people. And they make for crappy relationships cause they never get over that feeling of wanting you to be jealous. Every new guy or girl is someone they can use to get an emotion out of you. It's kind of sad cause they spend their lives using others to make the one person they want miserable so they can feel good about themselves.

Trust me, even if you do start something with her, it will be a soul sucking relationship. After a while there will be no relationship cause all it feels like is that you have a puppy who you can't stop from peeing on your floor. Everytime she gets afraid you don't love her or is mad that you aren't there enough or is scared you are going to leave, she'll reminded you how much you love her by doing some really crappy thing with another guy. Not realizing that the behavior just pushes the person away.

Exhausting is not the word for that relationship.

I think jealousy games and playing hard to get is a waste of everyones time...About the best answer I can give is that she sounds young...Are you positive it was to make you jealous? You were there seeing all the signs...Is it possible that she was slightly uneasy and overreacted when she saw a friend? Though it does sound like she made everyone uncomfortable...Just wondering...You've got to follow your gut. I just know that we all make mistakes. There's a chance she changed her mind but it's most probably what you suspect: she's trying to make you jealous. Some girls--usually the ones who like to play games or who get mixed signals from a crush--do that at the beginning of a potential relationship. Girls who do this are usually the jealous type themselves and unless you like a jealous gf, forget about her 'cause she'll only drive you mad with jealousy once you're together. Good luck!

This girl is just in it for the attention. she is an immature attention junky. do yourself a favor and just ignore that type of behavior if you don't you will just be throwing fuel on the fire. The girl probably hasn't had enough relationship experience and is just acting inappropriately. Any girl that tries to make you jealous is not a girl worth having.

Yup I think this is her problem as well. I mentioned she was actually somewhat shy as well, so sometimes I think she was acting foolish as well. I never mentioned this but I did stopped talking to her and she got "mad" at me. What do you think?

Its best not to play her game and just move on. eventually she will learn that the way she acts gets her no where in life. I wouldn't be mean to her but just understand that she isn't acting appropriately.

It could be that she's trying to see how many guys she can get to fall for her, like some guys would try to see how many phone numbers they can gather. She's probably very attractive. It's an ego-boost thing.

Yeah she is very attractive I am not going to lie. Once when I was sitting beside her in class and we stopped talking, she kept talking to her girlfriend how this guy was "so desperate" and laughing about it. There was other time when she was walking with this guy and she looked at me and kind of stare at me for some time while he was talking to her and he didn't like that at all either, I could see it on his face.

Remember the guy that I mentioned that she hugged?. Well the other times that he came, smiled at her and what not, hugged her, she wouldn't smile at him or even say hi to him.

Ask her why she did what she did. If she admits to liking you, you should give her a second chance. I'm in a tough situation with the guy I like because I made a bad first impression and am trying to show him the real me. It's not fun.
