Guys can cry. I cried when me friend Tony was shot in the throat and bled to death. I cried, albeit briefly, when I split from my ex in 2009. I was a ceremonial guardsman for years both in the U. S. Air Force and the law enforcement agency I worked at after. In that position, you don't get to cry. That job requires bearing, or the ability to keep your emotions 100% in check.
Although... in 2009 when my friend Burt Lopez was killed in the line of duty, my detail folded the flag over his casket and handed it off to the sheriff to present to his wife and children. His daughter, about 7 or 8 at the time, asked her mom:
"Is this what we're taking home instead of Daddy?"
I cried like a baby that night.

Society tells men to show no emotion. Men are shamed when they cry or show sadness. They get told to suck it the fuck up, don't be such a pussy. And they don't really have the same emotional support as women do, they get comforted and shown sympathy. It's a shitty, toxic society we live in as if a certain group of people should be set up to a certain standard and shouldn't have a sense of individuality. But as for my opinion, screw society's way of thinking. Do what you need to you to vent your feelings, and cut the fuckers out of your life if they think otherwise.
hope this helped.
society is really screwed up the way they pressure guys into only expressing emotion via anger. We women have angry, emotionally incoherent idiots to deal with. Crying is a perfectly normal human feeling, it shows you are kind and sensitive (girls and women LOVE that) and even better you aren't afraid to show how you truly feel rather than hide behind all the tedious macho crap scared men hide behind. I just love how younger guys are getting so much better at being honest and real, it's making the world a much better place.
you are completely normal, it's ok to cry and not whimpy at all as long as you don't cry over every little thing
crying actually helps you to let your bulit up emotions out and makes it easier to deal w harder things in life
but since it is putting ysf in vunerable position it's best to do it in private
but completely normal !
Even if society doesn't let guys be that free about their emotions and would judge them, you should have healthy emotions w ysf
Yes!!! Absolutely yes, its okay. But you can't show those tears to everybody or else they can attempt to take advantage of you. Its only human of you to cry. I would love to give you a friendly hug. Just let it all out and don't hold it in. Better to release in tears than anger. Your not pathetic and don't listen to those idiots! They're the same people who have meaningless sex, and dump their partners when they feel like it. That is how depressing it is.
My boyfriends always wonder the same thing and I always tell them it's better to cry (which I don't mind, I comfort them most of the time) than to bottle it up and let it out in a rage. It's not wimpy at all. What's wimpy is being afraid to show emotions because your masculinity might be damaged.

Boo hoo, blubber, blubber... you musta had some kinda mental breakdown! Men don't just start weeping and wimpering. Keep it up and you'll end up in a mental ward, curled up in a fetal position, soiling your britches and clutching your crabbed organ! C'mon, shake it off; man up!
Yes it is ok for men to cry. You are vulnerable and weak then but at times we need to be otherwise we break. Men only cry in front of those that you trust. Emotional pain hurts worse than physicual because we can't get used to it and we can't defend against it. Let out your bottled up emotions and cry it all out.
It is cool - You are just emotionally expressing yourself - Dude it is worse to keep it in than let it out.
There's nothing wimpy about needing to cry.
It's wimpy to cry as a singular means of handling the smallest of emotional distress. But when life gets rough sometimes you gotta cry.Yes, it's ok for boys to cry I mean they have have feelings too. If you feel like crying you should that doesn't make you any less of a boy or a man. Me and my boyfriend are 17 and he's cried to me twice over something that was bothering him. He thinks it makes him soft too still though.
Men tend to cry ONLY when it actually matters (death of loved one, pet, friend, etc...) Whatever you do don't cry in front of women, they will view it as WEAKNESS and treat you in accordance with the fact. Chuck Norris tears can actually cure cancer and AIDS but he has never cried so unfortunately the world will never have that "gift".
Yes, Jesus cried when he lost a friend. Crying is a part of life sometimes, better to be honest about feelings sometimes than hide them or ignore them.
Crying is a human reaction. Human; not female. Of course guys can cry. It's healthier if they do cry now and then.
Sure. It's entirely okay for boys to cry. If you want to be a pussy.
Only exception is heavy shit like death. You're not a wimp at all. It's totally normal for you to cry, especially since you had a fight, you obviously love her. And you're human so its only natural for you to cry.
Crying is just a normal body function but ots stigmatized for guys so do it in private where nobody can see or hear you to prevent people from telling you are weak. Thats only gonna hurt you more so preventing that is in your advantage.
Smh that people ask this. Of course dude, it's not wimpy.
Just because your a guy doesn't mean your not allowed to cry and you still felt pain (although emotional pain not physical)
Men can cry under certain conditions such as if a relative dies or they just got their leg blown off.
People that cry are actually emotionally stronger
Oh comeon.. u cried for a girl brah?
I would say it depends on the reason
Big boys don't cry... don't cry. don't cry.
Aww boys have feelings too!
