What do shy girls think when guys talk to them? Do they get nervous or do they feel happy later?

This is at high school level and this girl doesn't really seem nervous at all. But she's one of those quiet girls so it's hard to tell.

I'm definitely shy when it comes to guys. I'm so scared of seeming desperate and obsessive, so I'll talk to him sometimes, but avoid him on other occasions. And I try not to seem nervous, when really, I'm shaking. If she likes you, it's going to be the little things that show. Does she laugh a little too much? Does she tease you? Does she ask you for the homework, or a pencil, or anything, as opposed to her friends or other guys? I notice myself doing these things as well. If you see things like this, its a good bet. At any rate, just ask her out. If she's quiet, she's probably not going to do a lot of gossiping about it. The worst she can do is say no.

Well like I'm new to the school, and she came to me in science asking how to do something. she's like I think I'm getting it but it seemed like she was putting on an act kinda. it's hard to tell! but I won't ask her out until I'm more like... close with her, as friends, ya know?

Well, I am a somewhat a shy girl when it comes to this.

For me, I've been told that I blush, avoid eye contact and hesitate while speaking to him. There's this extreme case where I can't talk to one of the guys that I like at all ever since I started having different feelings for him.

What goes through in my head is: "Oh, crap. I hope I'm not annoying him. What if I say the wrong thing? Maybe he hates me. What does he think of me?" I get nervous before and during the process but if all goes well, I get all happy filled with butterflies afterwards.

What if the guy starts talking to you randomly? How would you act?

I'd be really nervous if we were alone because I don't wanna have the awkward silence. I would say what I need to say depending on what he said. Probably still blushing, avoiding eye contact and if we were setting down, I'd be pointing my feet towards him or try to sit as close as possible without seeming like a creep.

It depends really. if I really like a guy sometimes I get so scared that I will avoid talking to him just so they don't see me all jittery. They'll never look you in the eye when you are talking to them but will try to get a glance at you from across the room. They'll always seem to be around but they might never talk to you. Sometimes they'll have a really good day and attempt strike up a conversation with you and the next day they might completely ignore you...not because they aren't interested but because they aren't sure if you like them. At least this is how it's been for me at times. If you really like her just start talking to her and start building up trust, eventually she'll realize you like her!

Well like she's a quiet girl but doesn't show any sign of nervousness around me, but still talks to me at times. Like I see her sitting alone at lunch sometimes, alone in class, like just a solo girl with things to hide
