I'm not obnoxiously stubborn. I'm a kind and caring person but I don't listen to someones advice or suggestions no matter what,. It has to be my own way. Does it really annoy you?

Depends in what situation, I don't want the guy to be stubborn with me, but I love when he is stubborn in other things such as projects, or people trying to fool you, or just in other situations where you think stubbornes is something that might just help you out, or prevents you from being fooled.

They write books and have seminars about how to get along with difficult people. Difficult people get mentioned by name to therapists a lot. Do you want to be one of the reasons for this? Honestly ask yourself this because it makes you an asshole if you do.

Not listening to good advice is frustrating and... just bad. Not saying you can't make your own decisions, but to not even be open to accepting that perhaps you don't know everything is scary.

Well if it's life and death situation then I would listen. But I'm usually stubborn because their advice didn't make sense to me or it takes away my self confidence. I'm open minded, and I do change a lot when I'm alone.
