1) It's called preening, and it's a way for guys (and gals) to show their interest in another person. Or maybe he just really likes the feeling.

2) Because (if he likes you back) he's trying to become a part of your life, and he wants to get to know your friends and have them like him.

There could be other explanations, but I honestly think he likes you. 😉

Fixing/playing with his hair might just be a general habit, but he may do it especially around you because he's self conscious or nervous, and he's just trying to integrate himself into your life so that he can get a chance to know you

A groomed man always fixes his hair, but whenever he's around his crush he'll be extra cautious and constantly do it. It's to free up the forehead for some reason... I mean for me.

As for his way of getting into your conversation he definitely wants someone in your group. That's a clue so if he does something else random to you he really wants you

I read in a book called "how to read a person like a book" in college psych class we groom ourselves subconsciously when we are attracted to someone and they want their attention of course that is why he wants to be in your conversations I are his friends male? she is trying to subconsciously show he is an alpha male when you speak to his friends so they all know he is the one that wants to be with you it's all human psychology in fact higher primate psychology
