Excellent question. Respect is very important.
1. Like men, women who do things that are generally not worthy of respect will not be respected. If a woman doesn't have manners, doesn't care about other people's feelings, is self-centered, talks over others, or otherwise acts in a disrespectful fashion, she will not be respected as a person.
2. More specifically, as a woman, if she plays games with guys, leading them on, flirting with them only to say get a guy to buy her drinks or do things for her, if she cheats on her boyfriend, if she doesn't respect that a guy likes to spend time with his friends, etc. then she will also lose the respect of others.

I for one respect a girl who isn't afraid to show her intelligence and her own capabilities. A lot of girls seem to like to play the dumb and helpless routine, which is never respectable. I'll admit it can be attractive at first, but it has this habit of very rapidly becoming incredibly annoying and a huge turn off.
I think some things that guys respect are independence, non-drama and a good sense of humor. I've found that guys also like it when a girl can give him s*it (joking) right back when he dishes it out.
As far as stuff that would make a guy lose respect, I think it's the same for everyone (guys and girls): disrespect, immaturity, drama, meanness, lying, cheating, etc etc.
Bottom line: we should all be what we are looking for in a guy/girl. :)
A girl that respects herself. A girl that doesn't put so much emphasis on gaining a guy's approval, but rather one that stays true to herself. Also if she treats others with respect

I would have respect for her if she wasn't mean,conceited, and didn't dress like a slut. As well as not having a "tramp stamp". Also if she actually cared about the poor and concerned about
animals that are treated cruelly.
Based on what I mentioned above it should be obvious as to what would make me not respect a woman at all.
Have an intelligent opinion, what type of books she reads, whether or not she needs "help" with her work, how she treats guys that are attracted to her and she does not feel the same for them, her views on strange and/or controversial topics
respect: classy girls with self respect, decent character
dont respect: the opposite of ^
