Girls, why you hate the color pink?

I heard here that girls hate the colour pink?Why?I don't say wearing everything pink lol I'm just wondering..

I think it is because pink is so stereotypically "girly" that many girls shy away from that nowadays. I don't think they want to be perceived as "girly girls" and somehow dumber for it. There are so many instances where pink is associated with ditsy girls who are unintelligent and flaky. No one wants to be that girl. That's why I think many girls will avoid or claim to "hate" the color pink.

Personally, I know many girls who have pink all over their dorm rooms and wear pink frequently. I have nothing against the color, it's not my favorite, but it's not awful either. In moderate doses it's really quite nice.

i love pink

i think it is a very feminine colour, just depends on what pink you wear.

it can give the impression that your very confident in yourself and fun if you for example wear a bright pink top that is fitted.

i once went through a pink phase: my phone was a light pink, then I bought a pink ipod, I always bought some gorgeous pink summer shoes and painted my nails pink. I like to think I was colour co-ordinated. but it wasn't as trashy as it sounds ;D

I don't have a problem with pink or any other color for that matter. I think the reason some females claim to dislike pink, is because they don't want to come off as the stereotyped girlie girl. But I think feeling such hatred over a mere color is just silly.

I'm commenting for my ex-girlfriend. Her favorite color is pink, and she has a pink phone (or was it a pink screen saver? I think phone). Her room is pink, I bought her a pink shirt she liked, etc.

Pink is the Color of some brands of Tampon applicators...may hate that color cause it is associated with Periods...just saying

I don't like pink because it's so stereotypical.

It's like no shock for a girl to love pink because it's such a girly colour.

It's like.. boys have to like blue? If you get me. Or green.

I just don't really like it because it's really babyish too in my opinion. Hot pink is nice, like a fiesty type of pink.. but otherwise I just feel like I'm trying to be the next version of barbie.

Most people outside assume I'm a tomboy because I hate the color pink, But they always say I don't like it because I'm a tomboy according to them. But the true reason is that my favorite color is blue. BUT for my entire life in tunisia I have been expected to like the color pink ONLY. One time my mom let me and my sis paint a wall in our rooms, when the guy was going to paint them came, My sister painted her wall yellow but when it was my turn I chose blue. My mom was bribing me to choose pink or even red but my dad and the guy painting walls convinced my mom to paint it blue. My entire life Iife I've been expected to be a "girl". to like pink and dolls.

It's simply too girly for me lol. And I associate it with immaturity, like how all little girls are supposed to love pink. I don't see it as a 'womanly' color.

The only thing I like in pink is my make-up because it looks good with my skin tone. And I'm a sucker for bright colors, so I don't mind a hot pink. Other than that, I prefer black lol.

I love pink, it's one of my favorite colours - I think I probably like it for the same reason a lot of girls don't. Because it's ridiculously 'girly' and well, I like being a bit of a girly girl every now and then.

But I can't wear it clothes wise - it doesn't go with my skin tone, it washes me out.

I don't "hate" pink but it's definitely not one of my favorite colors.

I think it's because when I was little I had pink everything! So maybe some girls hate it because of the overload of pink they had in their childhood.

I hate it. The women of my family didn't like that I was a tom boy and forced it upon me. I refuse to wear it, and you will find nothing in my room, car, locker or anywhere with pink in it.

I didn't like pink like 3 years ago,  because my mom like seriosly pressured pink on me like crazy lol I'm still not it's biggest fan but I like neon pink or hot pink, anything vibrant ^^

im not a girly girl, when I go for the more feminine look I like to look like a woman and I think pink is just not bold enough to make a confident womanly statement and it can just look tacky.

Pink is okay. I was never really into it that much but now I've realized that is the color that looks best on my skin, so I wear it.

I don't like Pink that much, it can be a nice color if its bubblegum pink or a pale soft pink.

I would wear pink blush or lipgloss but that's it, I have one dark pink/red tank top that I wear sometimes. I'm not too keen on pink..
