This guy is friendly to everyone, how do I know if he's into me or just being nice?

this guy at my work is super hot, I dig his personality so I'm definitely crushing on him hard.. but I just can't tell if he's into me or just being nice. he's given me rides home before and has chilled at my place during his lunch break, he'll come talk to me (I'm a cashier) and start up a convo or he'll come and just joke around with me. all the other girls at my work are taken, but he's driven one girl to lunch and stuff so that's why I'm wondering if he's just being nice. any ideas on how to tell ? what kind of hints can I drop to see if he's interested ? thanks for your help :)

okay these types of guys can be a little bit confusing. Their confident, hot and really good at getting girls, yea? All I can say is, since you get lifts from him and have great conversations etc I think you should just continue doing that. You are aware that he spends equal time with other girls with giving them lifts etc and that he is very social. Continue hanging with him if you are comfortable with that and about him sharing his time with other girls. You can't always tell if a guy likes you because it depends on the guy but just enjoy his company for now. One day, if he does like you and is up to it, he could possibly tell you and ask you out. That's the time when you know he likes you more than a friend.

I'd be careful about throwing around that someone else is interested in you. Rather than make him want you more, he may back off or think it's your way of saying you are not interested in him.

I would mention being bored and wanting to go see a movie or something and then casually ask him what he's doing this weekend and if he wants to see any of the movies playing. Just be casual. Even if he is just a nice guy, it's unlikely he will go out to a movie on a Saturday unless he's even just a little interested.

but try and bring up like the fact that you wanna go see a movie or something and you have no one to go with, or tell him that someone is interested in you and you don't know if you should go for him and try and see if he gets defensive

Well, pay attention to what you two talk about. If he is trying to get to know you more on a personal level and what you like/dislike, that is you hint that he is interested in more then being a friend.

Thing is you might be a really cool chick. He might just like hanging out with you. What you can do is start asking him what he is up to on the weekend and if he says nothing. Say that you wanna check out (whatever movie that you think he would like) then say that you have no one to go with. If he is smart, he will ask if you wanna see it with him.
