My responses:

1. So being fat gives you an automatic personality boost? Newsflash: there are fat girls with zero personality too.

2. That may be so. But you can overcome that. That's like a person who didn't exactly get the "smart" gene saying he's going to fail at life and never going to try. Or a person who has a family history of a certain type of cancer just succumbing themselves to it.

3. Ya can't help what ya like. Would you want to date someone of the same sex? No? Does that make you shallow? No it doesn't. It's your preference.

4. Curves ARE attractive. Fat rolls are not.

5. So there are only two options than, be fat or super skinny? No, there's all kinds of people in between.

I concur wholeheartedly; they are legitimising their lack of effort or inability to improve themselves by stating that is the one rejecting them that has the issue and not them-the mirror doth flatter not and they ought to really stare at it to appreciate why they are rejected.

That said-I would go for someone with personality and who took pride in their appearance/respected themselves enough not to become a hazard to their health-your point was apt- extra weight does not amount to additional personality or more interesting traits; it is a liability.

As to genetics; one can blame genetics for all they like but ultimately we are now in a situation whereby we have advances in medical science and ready and easy accessibility to institutions designed to promote and facilitate good health; i,.e. dropping the bucket of fried chicken and hitting a treadmill-or consulting a dietician to determine appropriate measures to overcome weight problems. Genetics set the stage but the player is more than able to counteract this and manipulate the scene to their liking; I find such excuses on genetics pitiful and a sign of weakness.

Further, the issue of shallowness again amounts to my initial point; it is a matter of preference, and I for one would appreciate that if someone rejected me because I am a fat disgusting slob who has multiple cardiac arrests extricating myself from my couch, that it was I with the flaw and needed to get his backside in gear. Granted a lot of people hit the gym etc. for vanity reasons, ultimately the overriding point is that vanity and health are almost intrinsically and indissolubly linked whereby when you look good, you feel good-when you look fit inevitably you are also healthy.

The forth point was very apt also-curves are indeed appealing excess weight is very unattractive not only on an aesthetic level but also on a practical level given the innumerable complications medical and otherwise; to that end, a happy medium is best and is achievable-people just need to have the strength of character of wanting to do something to improve their situation instead of passively awaiting for the sky to open and for them to be magically bettered; after all, the very definition of insanity is doing the same thing/nothing over and over again and expecting a change.

I'm sure you will either catch flak for this, or will not be taken seriously, but I'd have to say I agree. Either you paid close attention to what you wrote here, or you really don't have hard feelings for these people, but that's the best policy: not getting personal with these kinds of people and moving on. I wouldn't say that it's only fat people who say this but for the purpose of this question, if people were to hear somebody telling you this in public, they would probably secretly be annoyed with the person as well. All it is, is someone taking a rejection to heart and trying to justify bringing you down as well or making you look bad.

My body is odd. I want to lose at least 7 lbs and I was close once to my goal weight, by odd body I mean I am skinny in some areas and fat in others, its weird. But I am still trying and I love to know health food and fitness tips.

1. I have never heard of this one and yes there are girls with no personality that are fat, besides there are fat girls who are downers.

2. That is pathetic not to try, saying while you scarf donuts down... wow you have inspired a new trend.

3. I myself don't like super fat guys, it is not shallow because why would I be attracted to someone who doesn't take care of themselves.

4. That is just a fancy word for girls who are overweight, it is used in magazines and other places because saying large and plus size can insult a fat ass. True curves depend on genetics, some stick women have a natural hourglass, so super fat women have the body known as the ruler or banana.

5. How is fat healthy, what you have is stored energy and sitting around packs more that you don't need. Get off your ass and stop pouting.

As for number 2 I will add this. There are some girls that are born with PCOS or diabetes, my friend has PCOS and has had weight problems all her her life. She has never learned why until March of this year. Some people don't know they have it and it can lead to confusion as to why they can't lose weight.

PCOS is when your hormones are unbalanced and can lead to not having periods and not being able to have children. The symptoms lead to obesity, diabetes, extra hair on facial areas, and hair loss on your head in some cases some people are underweight. My friend found out that the PCOS is causing her to be prediabetic and she must take medicine to regulate her insulin.

That's a small part of it.

Its in my genes too, I come from a family of fat diebetic people, but with lots of efforts I'm still a little bit chubby but far away from diabetes

I don't know what I think when girls say that stuff, but when you say it I think "Man, what an asshole." Seriously dude, you might not have meant to, but you totally came off as a douche bag. You should focus on yourself instead of judging others. You don't know other peoples situations, some people have health issues that either cause weight gain or their medication does. Some women gain weight after child birth, poppin out little bastards like you. Sometimes the use of birth control can cause crazy weight gain, and the silly thing is the chicks take the stuff cause half the time men refuse to wear condoms lol. And even if there is no excuse and someone is just fat, it's still none of your f***ing business. It's not your cross to bear. I believe the question-asker was making reference to people who have an attitude in that they blame others for being rejected instead of wanting to improve themselves. Granted there are illnesses/genetic factors which may amount to being in such a state; when the excess weight is a result of conscious life-style choices then they have no right whatsoever to act in such a sanctimonious manner.

I'm surprised someone as well spoken as yourself not only agrees with but encourages such bullsh*t. I'm just sayin it sounds a bit judgmental. Myself personally am attracted to heavy women, it's a fetish/attraction that's hardwired into my brain, but it doesn't mean I let it cloud my judgement either.

There's nothing wrong with being happy about being fat or being attracted to it, because not only are there many other people like myself who are attracted to it, there are many others who enjoy being fat, while yes, admittedly there are health risks to it, you can gain fat 'smarter' and put yourself at less of a risk than someone else who doesn't.

Your statement of 'curves are attractive and fat rolls are not' is a very broad statement, and you act as if you speak for everyone, myself obviously being excluded from this statement, but because most people are insensitive, close-minded, and fat phobic you will have a lot of people supporting your claims and opinions as if they were fact.
