Guys, what are your opinions on tongue piercings?
If a girl had a tongue piercing than she better suck some penis. I would be upset if my girl didn't give me blow jobs with a tongue piercing on. I never got head from a girl with a piercing before but I always wanted to see if there was a difference. I can't see a reason to have one unless it was to add extra pleasure to the job.
PS: You should do some research before getting one. I don't know if this is true or not but I found some statistics.
* The jewelery may damage your teeth and gums. A study from Ohio State University found that almost half the people wearing a tongue stud for more than 4 years had chipped teeth, and 35% had receding gums because of the stud banging against the gum (Journal of Periodontology 2002;73:289 –97). The longer the stud had been present, the worse the damage.
* The pierced site could become infected, but this seems to be fairly unusual in the tongue compared with other parts of the body (maybe because of its good blood supply). Resist the temptation to fiddle with the newly inserted stud.
* Because different parts of the tongue are sensitive to different tastes, some people find that a piercing affects their sense of taste. It can also cause slight difficulty in speaking clearly. If you need an operation, you will be asked to remove the tongue jewelery, because it can cause difficulties with the anaesthetic.

I literally hate all piercings that aren't in the ear. And tatoos.
I went with y best friend to get her ear pierced and the air gun or whatever wasn't exactly right so she started bleeding, my only reaction was to take the bottom of my shirt and cover it up so it'd stop. No big deal, right? That scarred me. I never want to see my best friend in pain, let alone physically bleeding. Although, she thought it was cute how I reacted and that was my first kiss the day after it happened.
i would just like to say that if you have a plastic tongue bar and acrylic balls on your tongue bar then you can't chip your teeth. if you find that you like to chew our bars (like me) then get a plastic one, you can't damage them then. I used a metal bar for long enough and I cracked a tooth but now I don't have a problemm. You will see that your tongue will change, I mean that you will feel temperature a lot more, if I eat hot food then it burns my tongue more now because it's more sensitive.
it is true that if you have an operation that you can be asked to take it out. but you can get your tongue re-pierced it might just hurt a little more than last time.
I personally am really happy with my tongue piercing, I've had it for over a year now. The only things that I have noticed different are that my speach doesn't sound so clear anymore and I have to pronounce my words more than before because I have a little lisp but that could be caused my the type of balls I have on the ends. And that my tongue is more sensitive which isn't really a down side

Considering what some of the effects of oral (lips, tongue, cheek) piercings are on your teeth, you might want to rethink why you would want to get a tongue piercing? If it's because you've always personally wanted one, then it shouldn't matter at all if guys think it's sexy. There are guys out there who find it hot, and some who don't, so either way it won't completely put the entire male population off.
But if your main reason for getting it is just to be more attractive to guys, then you probably shouldn't. There are plenty of other things you can do that would be less painful and cheaper if you're just wanting to spice up your dating/love life.

Honestly - who cares what other people think. If you like it, do it. I got mine done last year cos I just wanted something different. I'll agree that a lot of girls look trashy with piercings - tongue is probably one of the prominent ones that are guilty of this. Provided you don't try lick ice creams with it poking out (licking anything becomes difficult, btw) or doing other crud just to show it off - it's fine. Do it for you, nobody else.
It IS fun to play with though.

I'll say what I've said to any other piercing related question, I don't like em. Unless they're ear rings (and not the big hoop ones either). Facial piercings just seem to take away from the face, and tongue piercings just don't seem attractive to me. I don't care to look at a chick's tongue to begin with so I really don't get it. ON the flip side... apparently they help with the "sensation" of oral sex... but honestly... if a chick relies on a tongue piercing for oral... she's doing it wrong.

ugh I don't really like any piercings... including ear rings, I mean really girls are already beautiful why do they have to through jewelry on to make them feel better about themselves? so no, but there are many guys who do like it (just so you don't think I'm being an ass)

Most people think getting a tongue piercing means you must give guy head but honestly some girls do it because they like it. Guys never ever expect someone with a tongue piercing to give you head cause it won't work. Honey i'm getting mine pierced soon and i'm not thinking about giving head.
