Why has she gone cold on me?

I've liked this girl for 2 months, and she's been quite flirty at times with me. There have been times where she has been distant to me though.

However today it was almost as if she barely acknowledged that I was there. She would say the odd thing but she seemed quite when I tried talking to her. Admittedly I didn't say a lot to her but that was some kind of reflex I guess. She'd talk to a few people around me and be reasonably chatty but with me she seemed a lot quieter, barely making eye contact or anything.

She's been speaking to this guy for about 2 weeks now, and there have been signs that they're interested in each other, but I'm not sure. But since then, she's been quite distant with me. Now, I've done nothing major to show that I'm interested, but nor have I done anything to offend her. Before they got talking, in fact the last time I saw her, she was being very flirtatious with me.

As a quiet girl myself, I can be a bit in my own world sometimes and don't necessarily realize I'm ignoring people, especially if it's in a group situation, or at work. I respond cheerfully enough to people who speak to me but don't really start conversations (and sometimes forget to even say hi!).

If, on the other hand, she is distant when you speak to her one-on-one, then that's a better indication that she might not be feeling the same... if it happens repeatedly over a few days, etc, then you probably have your answer.

Likely she has decided to focus her attention on this other guy instead of you - maybe she's given up on you ever asking her out!

TBH, it seems like she's moved on. Wht you should do is try to make a bit more effort with her. if she shows intrest then she likes you, otherwise you know the answer. try to give her a bit more eyecontact and so on. Good Luck :D

Yeah, I don't know if she's still interested. What I don't get is why she doesn't even show signs of "just being friends". It's like she wants nothing to do with me.

well, you should make sure that you ask her, and say it in a nice way. Something like, ermm... you angry with me or something? if so, I'm sorry. I bet she will say no. and then make a joke of it.

i am sorry to say that but she got over u..i know that cause the same exactly thing happend to me but the only diffrence is that I liked this guy for 2 years not 2 month and I was just tottaly invisible.

maybe she is being distant because you are doing the same... Try texting her something like Hey what's up.. And if no response than forget it.
