When a guy and a girl hold extended eye contact?

When a guy and a girl hold extended eye contact for about 3 seconds maybe more, do you usually take it as a sign of attraction and/or interest? Do you consider it a sign of interest? Why or why not? ...By the way by extended eye contact, I don't mean making eye contact during a conversation. I mean the type of eye contact where a guy and a girl just look at each other directly in the eyes without speaking or saying anything.

Yeah, I take it as a sign of interest depending on the situation. Have to make sure the other person is looking at you and not some other dude. Also have to check whether he/she is focused on you or whether there's a dazed look in their eyes. Interest doesn't always mean relationships though.

But I've been wrong before so it's not always the same for everyone.

Staring is often an aggressive behavior, and 3 seconds is actually a long time. Depends on the situation. After 3 sec it must get pretty awkward though. What do you say? "What are you staring at"? lol

I think he likes you,but k you should make small talk about intrest and hobbies or movies which may lead to hangn out wirh him and take it from there.
