Why would it mean something if a guy complements a bag? American men can be so weird. In Italy, men have versions of purses they carry and no one cares. It's an ACCESSORY, not something that needs to be scrutinized and read into. A man has every right to compliment whatever he wants without someone judging him for it. Men can appreciate aesthetics, too. Stereotypes are just so awful. Heaven forbid a man be able to dance, enjoy a musical, or keep a diary without insecure guys thinking it's some sort of "gay" thing, not that there's anything wrong with that either. If you define being a man by a stereotype, that's a pretty lonely boat. Every man has a different way of carrying himself and expressing himself, regardless of orientation. Gender stereotypes imprison both sexes, I don't understand why anyone would want to impose that upon their own kind.
