Ladies do you assume a 'smooth talking' guy is a player?

If he's fashionable, tall and generally confident? I grew up with 3 sisters so it's a lot easier for me to talk with girls. One of my female friends told me that women only want to f*** guys like me and not date long-term or marry. It really hurt because we had dated for awhile and she implied that she thought I had been with a lot of women.

But I've only slept with 1 girl after we dated for 6 months.

It depends on how honest we perceive a smooth talker to be. Honesty = less likely to be a player. If we think you aren't being honest (which is not the same thing as you being dishonest, its all about perception) then we're likely to perceive you as being a player or a liar. Often both.

At first glance, I'd probably assume it, but once interacting with him Id be able to tell if he was genuine or just a player.

Kinda depends on how we define "smooth" does it not? I have been in sales/customer service for most of my life. An Aussie on Farm Town asked me once if I was a wordsmith...I had to look up the definition! But I don't have a line of bullsh*t I lay on people and have never been a hustler...

You learn from experience, how to smooth talk. Which generally means you have had experience and know how women work. Before you know women will be drinking you up like a smoothie :p
