To have the upper hand, just like you guys do. I mean I always fall hard and love very hard. I have such a difficult time with break ups and I struggle very very hard afterward. My most recent ex dumped me in a text message after promising me a future and a wedding and a happy life together with children and I planned for it. She just up and left and never looked back. I heard rumors she was sleeping around all summer and then replaced me 2 months ago with someone else who has a lot of similar social qualities as me, but is a step down. She ignored me ever since she left, even having her mother respond to emails and calls. Guys definitely struggle after break ups, sometimes harder than you guys. All you have to do is go to a bar, flirt with some guys and you're getting free drinks and break up sex.
After going out with a guy you should know that if there is one thing most of us are good at doing it is being fairly good at hiding our emotions. I am saying that he probably is not completely over you, but he is trying to come off like he is.
Simple... he got what he wanted and now he is playing the " douchebag " card... happens all the time... move on from these so called " men " and find yourself a real man... these types of guys never change and go from woman to woman spreading their poison... love yourself enough to let go and find real love!
If he broke up with you, he's probably ignoring you not because he hates you, but because he feels like you'll never get over him as long as you're in contact.

thats because he is trying to get over you and seeing things that remind him of you or seeing you for that matter will just make it that much harder to get over you. its sort of a grieving process. He isn't over you but he is trying to. I don't know if that makes you feel better lol
easy and simple..the same reason why women does it. he want you to chase and him and make him feel like his wanted and him dumping you was for the best but in your end you should do the complete opposite..:-)
same reason girls ignore guys after rejection
It helps him get over you.
