Why isn't he asking me to hang out?

i walk to the coffee place with this guy that I like, he lives like 5 house down from me, and we used to walk together every morning but he's never asked me to hang out at his house. does that mean he doesn't like me or what?

He likes you - if he didn't - trust me - he'd have found a 100 ways to avoid you. But does he REALLY like you ...can't tell from what you said. He may of course have 100 cats as well ! The smell will give it away. And I'm with the other poster - not a great idea generally to date a neighbour

Sorry for not getting back sooner - just seen your comment. I think your could sort of invite yourself over. he might take it as pushy so - you're a girl and can therefore be subtle and cunning - if you can invent an excuse or a situation to get the invite. I see you turned him down once. He WILL be cautious with you so better to take the girls' advice below - ask him round to yours on some excuse (collect something, lift something) and make him coffee and a sandwich. Food for a guy is good!

he might be too shy. why don't you try asking HIM to hang out? maybe at first for homework or something, then for like a movie. if he says yes.. then your in business:)

of course I like him but I live at home with 4 other people so its kinda hard!

it doesn't mean that he dosn't like you it might mean that he is just shy about asking a girl out, talk to him about it and be like hey I really like you want to go out for some coffee sometime.
