I have a question regarding this guy from my class. I don't know whether he is interested or just casually flirting.
He is a very charismatic guy and overly friendly with everyone, the girls in particular, which can be interpreted as flirting. We started having some sort of teasy and fun relationship half a year ago, but it wasn't really considered a friendship, since we didn't hang out or talk much in the breaks. He enjoyed teasing me, because my reactions to the teasing amused him. He also enjoyed teasing others, but for some reason I seemed to be his favorite teasing object.
We have many personal traits in common and the most obvious is our competition mentality. We love challenges and we hate losing, so we challenge each other to every little thing like games, puzzles, knowledge, math, sport and discussions. (And he always wins)
Lately he has been pursuing me and teasing me a lot, doing things to get my attention. A months ago I called him "fat" jokingly (he is not, he is actually very slim) and he responeded by pulling up in his shirt and exposing his chest, observing me with a playful look as he asked "how is this fat?".
This week he has been overly attention-seeking. He took my water bottle and held it up over his head, as he challenged me to get it back. Short as I am, it wasn't very easy, so I tried to hold on to him, which he didn't seem to mind. I also grabbed one of his hands to prevent him from changing the bottle from hand to hand, and he didn't even try to pull his hand out of my grib.
The other day I was sitting down on the stairway with a friend of mine when he came up from behind and laid his hands on my shoulders, massaging me. He slid his hands under my shirt, to reach my shoulder better. I complained about the rough massage and he tricked me into giving him massage instead. The next day he said that the he would want to try massaging me again soon, saying that he will do it gentler.
We were both to a little party not long ago. He was sitting alone in a sofa and talking to the girls while playing a drinking game. I took a sit in the other end of the sofa and laid my legs on his knees. He smiled at me and pulled my legs into his lap.
He asked me to hang out yesterday. We baked cookies. I think he enjoyed himself. He walked me some of the way home and when I told him that I was afraid of the dark he offered to walk me all the way home, but I could see that he was freezing badly so I said no thanks and we hugged goodbye.
My friends think that he gives me a different kind of attention than others. He tickles me, he acts childish around me, he pokes, pretends he's a zombie and chases me lol.
He also looks into my eyes for extended periods.
He obviously loves making me laugh and doesn't seem to mind being close to me or touching me (grabbing my arm, pulling me with him to the canteen, high-fiving)
One day he is all over me and the other it's like he barely sees me.
