How come Arab guys hardly fall in love?

I'm pretty much an arab girl raised in a western country, I've been to other countries as well. But the one thing I've noticed so different from the rest of the planet are Arab guys. They are so arrogant, cocky and think the whole world revolves around them. But its not that, the problem is, why don't they fall in love? like the respectful, happy and stable love. I've seen them hurt women, and just use them, even the non Arab ladies. I honestly cannot find one Arab guy who's actually different.

They cannot be in a committed relationship because their big fat egos won't let them, they think they deserve a woman who's beautiful smart and awesome and who's only going to be obedient to them. They use you and then they leave you and when they leave you they screw you up by telling their friends and family (if your Arab). Not only that, they have got a strange way of showing affection. Normal guys give their girl chocolate, or take her out for a movie, or just listen to her problems. But Arab guys just follow or stalk them around, or talk crap about the girl they like just to get her attention, and want food or for the girl to cater to them.

I'm not kidding, I actually see this stuff happening and I feel helpless. I'm in a community with these males and I've seen girls get hurt by them. Like as if their from another planet, I've met other guys from different countries and cultures, but their not anything like Arab men. Am I wrong?

i don't know, I might be wrong. As much as I don't want to be attached to one, I guess I want to meet one who's different and who can love properly, and take care of a girl. I have yet to see the day.

When I read what you wrote it put me into tears because I got hurt by an Egyptian man, me being Muslim we did things the Islamic way especially since we both claimed to fear Allah. So what happens, he lost his job because our ex boss liked me and I quit, so be fired him. Once we got married he had to go 3 hours away for another job but promised it

Was only for the summer, as time progressed he just had one excuse after the other, so I told him ill help him with papers to help him find a better job. So me like an idiot did so & instead of applying for work he went back to school & took on a job 2 hours away from me. Now he says we have too many issues, he confesses he has always had a problem being able to love people to a certain extent & can't commit to me right now & would like to be just friends, he wants me to go find someone else who can love me the way I deserve but not to legally divorce until he's done with his papers. Let's just say after all of that I cursed him out, o smacked him across the face & threw him out of my house. After a year & 3 months of helping him with papers, get a car, if he needed something I helped him, needed me I was there, I saved up close to $2,000.00 in 5 months so we can get on our feet & move in together, yet all I ever wanted from him was for him to be there & for us to help each other grow & progress together as a team, all I wanted was his love & respect. I feel so ashamed, embarrassed, humiliated, used & deceived. I would never want any other woman to have to go through what I did, the pain is so bad & deep I don't think I would want any woman to have to go through what I did. I thought I could trust a man who feared god, I even had him swear he wasn't using me for papers while holding a quran but he still did what he did. I trust no man & I don't think I ever want to marry & go through this pain again.

You are pretty wrong :). My husband is an arab (tunisian) and he is a muslim -not that it metters. I met him when i was 17, in my country, he was 22 and he was a student by then and in present we have 2 children and one on the way. He never cheated on me -or at least he didn't show, he never actually hurt me with anything, he respects me and he makes me happy every time he have an occasion. Arabs are normal people, sometimes better than the others. i know many from diffrent countries (Libya, Qatar, Syria, Liban, Dubai & others) and they are more than ok. The truth is that there are some motherf*ckers, but in any country you can find some, same with women -some are ladies, some are bitc*es.

Yes I'm also very interested into knowing why arab guys are cocky. I tell all my friends that I find Arabs very attractive and they all reply , "oh but Arab guys are cocky". Why do they always say that? And it's not just one of my friends that say that. I have numerous different people I know telling me that. I know some Persian guys that were really f***ed up. And they were really disrespectful . But why such a target on Arabs? I wonder why people keep calling them cocky..

I'd be careful about generalizing. I'm sure there are plenty of decent Arab men out there. However, it is undeniably true that nearly all Arab and Muslim countries are highly patriarchal in nature. Women are treated as at best second-class citizens and at worst property. These environments warp the minds of young men to the point where they conflate jealousy and possession with love. Even second generation men who grow up in a western country as you did will be influenced by the values of their parents. Just keep an open mind and be strong in your own values. Eventually you will find someone who respects you, Arab or not.

I'm an arab, I live in a western country, I don't have a big ego I respect and treat the women I know better than the way I'd like to be treated my self and I don't think the world revolves around me, however I too have seen "some" people behaving in the manner you have described above. Now even in the arab culture if you hurt a woman it is a huge crime and you are dealt with severly, its just a minority who are like this.There are good blokes out there both arab and non arab, you just need to look harder.

I would be careful dating an arab - it's only because I've heard similar things about them as you said , I would be friend with arab and I have nothing against them, just I think their culture is really too different .

If you don't want just don't marry arab, you can marry non arab guy who will love you;) , there are plenty other guys, I don't think it's something you should worry about ;)

well, I'm Arab and I do fall in love and I see many Arabs with western girlfriends/wives. And I've actually had an American Girlfriend and once a German one but sadly they left the country... where do you live? because were I live now and my country of origin that doesn't happen.

Usually someone behavior has something to do with how they were raised and the culture.Dating is not a common thing among Arabs community so they aren't really expose to the dating rules.

I am an Egyptian Arab guy, I live in Europe for a year now and what I found till now that arabs here are raised differently and they are the worse of the worst mostly. And there whole purpose here is to fuck honestly. They are more likely to little kids, get a toy play with it for a while and eventually break it and throw it away. But if you find a man that sticks to his culture and religion more it's gonna be heaven. Trust me if you go to the Middle East you will find it way different
