A guy told me that he didn't see us going anywhere, but won't stop texting or calling?Why?

Met him through mutual friend, he never compliments me, talked and text for days, I started to like him, and treated him very well, we hung out a few times and then he still didn't want to date, he kept saying lets take it slow and see what happens. Then he would get drunk call and say all these sweet things, and sometimes (when no drunk) he would ask me things like you talking to other guys and get mad even if I wasnt. He constantly broke plans and always had a way to turn everything around on me.

He's treating you like a toy...you're fun for now but when a new toy comes along, you're going to get tossed into the Goodwill box. BE VALUABLE! Don't TELL him...SHOW him. This means no more calls/texts or making plans with him until he actually tells you he wants to date you and asks you out. Let him worry about you talking to other guys...It's none of his business if he's not dating you. He needs to know there are real men, who know your worth and are willing to keep your attention by treating you like a lady. Don't let him guilt you into thinking you're the jerk.

My advice: This guy doesn't get one more second of your time or one more word from you until he calls you (when he's sober), apologizes for his past behavior, and officially asks you out on a date. If he doesn't do those things, then he never gets to see or hear from you again. Your time and your feelings are precious and shouldn't be wasted on a guy who still has a lot of growing up to do!

he just wants to keep you around because he wants to hook up. he wants you available but he doesn't want to be with you in terms of a relationship or anything outside of little effort and convenience. unless this guy is buying you stuff stop wasting your time with him. he's not even taking you on real dates and paying for dinner? if not then definitely drop him. if he can't do anything for you then drop his behind. you don't owe him any explanations and you don't need to make him a priority. treat him the way he treats you.

He called last night and got mad because I wouldn't come see him and said he maybe had been thinking about thinmgs but just maybe he wouldn't think about it anymore, have a nice life bye

He may want to sleep with you, but doesn't want a relationship. He'll take the good side of you, but want's not to do with you other times. Do not waste your time.

Not really worth the time. The best way to get even with someone like that is to just totally ignore them.

It really is. If someone likes playing with peoples heads, the reward they get is the attention and the emotional reaction. If they get ignored then they get no more attention... Their game is over.

But once you ignore them and they realize that the game is over, will they finally leave you alone or try to work in on you again?

Ignore them = Block their phone number on your cell phone, block their email, do not give them the time of day. Move on with life... They are nothing. That's what I mean by ignore. Don't be like I'm mad at you hmmfff and then talk to them a few days latter. =P If he's going to screw around with you that much, then he's really not worth your time. You can do better.

well I blocked his number from text but my server doesn't have call block avaliable, and email ..? I never swaped that. lol. just want him to completely leave me alone so I'm trying to figure out what to expect in the next few days.
