Where have all the good men gone?!

A pretty self explanatory question.

However I have the worst luck with men.. Its not that I have low standards (at least I don't think I do) or over high expectations. I want an honest, loyal, intelligent person. Is that really so hard to be?! It seems like the moment I get my hopes up that I have found someone who I think could be a good match or someone I want to pursue, yep, you guessed it.. their true colors shine through..

What happened to men taking us on dates, getting to know us before they decide to take us to their beds. Or the fact that 75% think they are getting some on the first date, let alone the second. Not saying I wouldn't or haven't done it.. But geesh.. come on fellas.. Be respectful and courteous. Maybe I am doing something wrong, who knows... I am not pushy. I mean I do stand by the fact that a man has to earn my trust.. Most don't seem to appreciate that little fact. But all, jokes aside.. do I do online dating.. Not sure I could try that.. People have a difficult enough time being honest in person, whose to say that over the Internet they aren't who they claim to be either... Food for thought.. advise is welcome. Thanks!

Most women are douchbag magnets. They seem to pick up the losers like a vet who picks up stray cats or dogs. It is really pathetic especially when they say they want the average guy but then pick some eye candy. Average Joe: Hawaii is a good example.

Guys are getting sick of the B.S. and let's face it, there is a lot of it going around. You have the feminists who claim they want equality but it is just one sided. Then you have those who want the guy to pay for dinner, take them out to movies and the theater but yet they make just about the same as a guy. So they want their cake and to eat it too.

Sick of how divorces are handled. My stepbrother's wife is divorcing him and wants his personal business, his house, and everything. He paid for her schooling to be a Nurse, he had his business and house (totally paid off) before he met her. The f**king nerve. He should get alimony and child support from her.

There are a lot of crazy people out there. Now that I'm a bit older, the women my age are all about marriage and raising a family. They have pictured their wedding, down to the flower arrangements, all they need is some poor schmuck to drag down the aisle. Sorry, this isn't where I fit into the picture.

I'm perfectly fine living on my own, and I will probably live a longer life because of it. I'm upfront and honest about where I stand in life. Most people do not like, nay... more like can't handle the truth.

So if you want a guy to get to know you and not feel entitled to some action, go dutch on dates. Date friends of friends. And check the baggage at the door. I certainly start a new relationship with optimism but keep an eye open for those red flags.

Ladies...I'm gonna save you the trouble. I'm right here...on the internet...just like the rest of the rational gents on this board.

Wanna know some secrets? People under 30 don't know what they want...guys and girls. A majority of guys only care about having a good time and sleeping with many girls. There's exceptions but it's rare. Generally, guys mature and decide to settle down until after 25 to 30 when they're done partying, having fun, and sleeping with many girls or they finally realize they have no game.

Good men hang out in packs. Just like how douchenozzles hang out in packs. You find a good one and the rest will appear in his social circle for your single friends. You see...me, being a good man, associate ourselves with other good guys and girls who has the same moral compass. Sure some of them may lack a bit of confidence but we're all struggling just like you to find a good woman to spend the rest of our lives with.

Date the guys that women don't usually want to sleep with.  They won't try to get you into their beds right away.  If you want to date a guy who is sexually desirable, chances are, he knows he is.

Let Me give You a little bit of truth here. Women are only attracted to 30% of the men and those are the men You are chasing. The men You are chasing are already banging 3 or 4 women so why on earth would they want to commit and settle down. The flip side is 70% of the men out there have to compete for only 30% of the women which is very brutal. The majority of men are completely invisible to women because You guys only find 30% of the men attractive so to raise their sexual market value these men have to work their asses off so they can earn more money so they can gain more status. The men that work their asses off finally get a chance when women pull their heads out of their asses around 30 when mother nature tells them to have a child fast and then women start looking around for that BORING DEPEDABLE GUY WITH A GOOD JOB. The most fucked up aspect is those good guys will move heaven and earth to provide for a family and when menopause starts to come on the woman will dump that dependable man and then look for that stud again whom will just pump and dump like He has done all His life. So You want to know where all the good men are well honestly most of us have learned that women are nothing but trouble and honestly we're tired of jumping through hoops to support a child in an adults body. Oh and for Your info I busted My ass for My family regularly turning in 100+ hour weekly time sheets so My family could live a better life than I had and it all ended because the love of My life decided She wanted a fucking maintenance man that only wanted Her for a fuck toy and once He realized He destroyed a family He no longer wanted to deal with the drama. So now My daughter is destroyed along with Me and well lets just say the EX was promised that Her fat ass would be having fun by Her fat miserable friends and no man is around because they are all chasing Younger models whom are sexier and way more fun.

If a guy earns your trust on the first or the second date only means 2 things,

1) he knows how to handle girls

2) You date for sex not for a longterm relatioship

Yes you are doing something wrong, you ignore guys like me just because I'm a nice guy and don;t know how to apporach you, and if I do approach you and struggle, you would either ignore/blank or say fu*k off. You like material, car & money. Therefore, you don;t care who the guy is, you just want people to see you with someone who acts like he is rich (he has to let you go before you find out the truth lol)

I have a problem approaching someone like you and you only accept people who approach you (and poetically sweep/knock you off your feet to a horizontal position ;), so I guess you shouldn;t complain.

Some of the other guys are giving pretty good answers, so I wanted to focus on one particular thing from this.

Why would you complain about that if you are or were okay with it? I find it odd that girls will sleep with some random hot guy very early on because she is very turned on by him, trying to keep him, or whatever, but maybe a not so hot guy that you want a real relationship with will have to wait for it. Probably the reason that many guys expect it is because the value of it has gone way down. Almost every girl is exactly the same.

the fact that you think you are so much better than all the men out there is pretty outrageous.  I also think that girls overlook how much harder dating is for guys. girls have to look pretty, that's it. guys have to initiate EVERYTHING (which blows), generally have to pay for stuff, and plan everything out. and even then there's no guarantee that she's gunna like you, go out with you again, much less sleep with you! dating for guys is kinda risky, for girls its all reward, no risk. what's the worst that could happen? you have an awkward waste of a night.and then girls are shocked why men are no longer falling into this hellish situation?! and most of all, when you say where have all the good men gone you seem to overlook the dreadful shortage of good women

I'm not gonna act to like it's all your fault, but its usually it's the players that have the most skill with women and can read cues from women, so you're most likely to end up with a player because they know how you work.

Here's an example of cue: Sometimes if a girl likes you she'll hold extremely direct eye contact - a player would stare at her hard until she looks down (women are into dominance) - any normal dude would look away almost immediately.

If you want a real nice guy that just wants a good relationship you need to put some effort in. Sadly those who're skilled with women can just sleep with one whenever they want and they don't wanna settle down until their late 20's.
