What do guys think about play fighting?

Hey guys!

I happen to be a terribly playful person :P I also happen to be just over 5 feet tall. I have found that almost all of the boyfriends that I have ever had didn't want to play fight with me. I'm strong and can be really rough, so I can understand if they don't want to because I can hurt them. For the most part, they were afraid of hurting me (hence why I mentioned my height.) Fortunately for me, I'm too competitive to even worry about them hurting me. I like rough housing.

Now, to the point.

Guys, what do you think about play fighting? How does it make you feel? If you're afraid of breaking her, what could a girl say/do to you that would convince you that she's not as fragile as you think?

As a side question, do you prefer weak and fragile girls or relatively strong and playful ones?

It's all well and good that you enjoy roughhousing, I just think that everything you mentioned is a factor here, and you know it too. You're small so he worries about breaking you, you're strong, so you might end up hurting him, and on top of all that, he might even have a problem with hitting girls. There's a lot of guys who are raised not to.

As for the roughhousing, I think it's fun. Me and my girlfriend to it alot, but we try to make sure we don't do anything to hurt the other. No slaps, fists or jabs. Just wrestling. But yeah it's fun. Usually it starts off with us cuddling, and one of us wanting or needing to get up for something, and the other squeezing tight and then wrapping legs around. lol Yeah I know. We're dorks.

Regarding your question for showing you're not gonna break, I am not sure what to tell you other than telling him that, and letting him try and coming out on top. But try not to get too rough. To answer your side question, I don't think anyone wants someone fragile, but I think some guys prefer more passive girls. I for one like that my girl is tough, strong and playful though.

You are correct. I do know that many of those have a factor. I'm not the hitting type, more of the grab-and-pin type. Perhaps my grip is a little strong for some people.

It may sound strange but Maybe you are just that kind of a girl(a girl with strong character) that's always need to be sure that your boyfriend is strong enough for you (much stronger than you).

Thats why you're always try to challenge him in some way. Tell him you'd like playing with him cause it's fun. However, he should feel it intuitevly.

Fragile or strong?

I believe it depends on a guy. If he feels strong, he can take a challenge that a strong girl will offer him - he can try to get a strong one.

Perhaps you're right about me being that kind of girl. I think it might be me trying to seek a connection with that person. I love cuddling, I love hugging, holding hands, etc. Maybe I just want to be lighthearted and have fun. Take some time together laughing and challenging one another in good humour.

playful fighting is fun.. fighting with guys

we're not afraid of the other persons body gets wounded

but with girls, we don't want to hurt them.. ^-^

I think it's because you're smaller

than the guys, that they're afraid to hurt

you, I think it's subconcious that makes

Love play fighting / Wrestling, so much fun, wrestle with my wife quiet often, she is the one that always starts it. She is extremely competitive fit and we both work out, and she hates to loose, and goes all out to get me in her favourite wrestling hold. It's all good clean fun, and we use a safe word, but she doesn't seem to hear it when I say it... lol

I prefer the more not so fragile girl, as I like to wrestle back and someone that is competitive.
