I really like a guy who has a girlfriend... is that so wrong?

Imagine it the other way around, you two are dating and she's moving into the picture, secretly likes him, is flirting with him, spending alone time with him...
You're only the "bad guy" if you try to take things too far, I think. I mean it happens to everyone, we all get attracted to someone who's unavailable... I'm sure to HER you'll look like the bad guy no matter what, especially if she realizes you two are getting a bit too flirty or something.
Just don't be a homewrecker and it should all be good, probably.
I really don't want to do anything while they're together, honestly. I know how it feels, a guy has done that to me before. But I really like this guy, I know to her that I'll always be the knob who stole her man, but it's hard not to feel attracted to him :/ how can I just stop? I don't like people this much that often... should I really throw that away?
You shouldn't throw it away I guess, but also don't pursue it for the time being.
Wait to see if their situation changes. Try to focus on a different guy, or something else. Or remind yourself that there are like millions of guys out there and that if things don't work out with one, another's bound to come along and capture your heart.
Don't get too occupied with this guy while he still has a girlfriend... most likely you'll just be wasting your time...
Yeah, I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens... There isn't really any other guy I can put my focus on, but I know what you mean! I think the taken guys are always the best for a reason! I'll obviously not do anything stupid, will just keep friends with this guy, as we do get on really well, but won't focus on how much I like him! (will try anyway) thanks :)
So long as he's initiating and making all the moves, you're in the clear :3 I hope he realizes soon he wants to be with you more!
If he goes to kiss you or anything, I would let him start but then pull away...he can't have you unless he gets rid of the other chick. Otherwise you will end up as "the other woman," and you will become the bad guy.
If you're pursuing a guy that's taken in hopes that he'll cheat, you're a tramp. If you just happen to like him and he has a girlfriend, there's nothing wrong with flirting and having attraction as long as nothing's happening between you two. There's nothing you can do about it except respect him and his girlfriend while getting to know him. Who knows? You may get a chance further down the road.
I totally agree. I don't want him to cheat, and if he ever suggested so I'd turn him down, I don't want to be that girl! It's just hard to tell whether it's wrong to even pursue this guy as a friend, or if I should just steer clear... what if he likes me and we have a better relationship than the one he's in now? Should I just ignore that? It's so tough, because I'm sure that he's interested.
As long as you stay platonic friends with him, you're okay. Some people will argue "emotional cheating", however. A person is allowed to have friends of the opposite sex. They're also allowed to have attractive friends of the opposite gender with great personalities. As long as he's not neglecting his girlfriend because of you or cheating, you can do whatever you want.
Being in a relationship is so complicated, I mean, if someone you like more comes along then automatically you are a d*** and she is a d***. I guess being his friend is the only option until he is single. And if he isn't ever single, then I'm clearly not any better! Thanks, you really cleared this up for me :)
It's not wrong to like someone, it's when you act upon that attraction that it becomes frowned upon.
I always like to think from this pov, if he's flirting around with another girl while with someone, what does that say about him?
