I have been going out with my girlfriend for the last two months and have not really seen her show much emotion. Sure she tells me she likes me, kisses me unexpectedly and talks to me on the phone for hours. We see each other quite a bit too, but live a couple hours away from one and other. But last night, however, was the first time I saw her show any emotion. We were out at a restaurant and I told her I wanted to talk. I said that I just don't feel like she cares about me as much as I care about her and wasn't sure if this was going to work. She started crying and I said no I am not breaking up with you (which I wasn't). I just wanted to see how she felt about me and I think I got my answer. I care so much about her and feel that she is going to be around for awhile. She said she felt really bad, and didn't ever want me to feel that way. How do you think she feels about me and what made her cry?

I'd say she really does care about you too but just doesn't know how to show it, and when you said that to her it probably made her think at first that you didn't want to be with her or thought it wouldn't work. And after that she probably just felt terrible for not showing you how much she cares about you and for making you think that way. My guess is she was crying also because she felt like she hurt you and that upset her because she cares
If it were me, I'd feel horrible. And if I really loved that person, I'd always want the best for them-so when you said that, she probably feels like you deserve a lot better than her...and the whole 'I'm not sure if this is gonna work' part probably made her feel very insecure--like you didn't feel content with her. You may want to do random sweet little things for her, so that she knows you really do love her.
its quite obvious,
she REALLY likes you too.
and maybe the reason she hasn't cried before is because you haven't givin her a reason to..
which is a good thing. :)
