Why is he so quiet?

so I have been to talking to this guy for a while now online we talk for ages and it doesn't get awkward, but then when I see him at school he is quiet when around me and my friends and around me and his friends and when just around me he doesn't say much unlike online. What's going on why is he so quiet around me when I see him just with his friends he seams quite outgoing so yeah what's going on?

He's probably just a quiet guy by nature. If he is outgoing with his friends then all he needs is some time to feel comfortable with talking to you in person. Give it some time and it should fix its self. It might be that he is just nervous because he likes you and is scared that he isn't going to say the right things. Sounds like he is an overthinker, so intent on saying the right thing that he ends up not saying much at all. Once it gets to a point that he isn't worried that he's going to drive you away by saying something dumb he should open up more and act like he does with his friends.

either he's quiet..or he's shy. the computer allows everyone and anyone to open up which is why its so great. don't let it bug you, he might just be shy in person until he opens up more around you.
