The guy I like (who knows I like him) saw me tonight and gave me a salute and I saluted bac. The rest of the night I was dancing near his group but we never spoke to each other and I only made eye contact one more time following our meeting. The one time I tried to wave and say heya he had this glazed look and was almost looking past me into nothingness. I have a suspicion that throughout the evening he was becoming more and more drunk loll but those are my two questions:
1) What does a salute mean? I'm guessing just a friendly gesture
2) Guys, would you think if you knew someone liked you but they didn't say hello when out clubbing sometimes, they were being rude or would you see that it's just because they're nervous? We have been friends for about a year and a half : ) but I would hate for him to think I was blanking him! I just like him and it's hard for me to communicate with him when I see him out.
