How do I say I miss him without being clingy?

okay the guy I like is out of town, and I kind of miss him. we didn't have the chance to hang out b4 he left to go to Philly. and he has a phone that doesn't work outside of our state. so I can't contact him that way. he gets on once in awhile on aim. I just want to tell him that I kind of miss but I don't want to sound clingy by saying that I miss him?

If I were you, I would play it kind of cool. Being too "available" or "obtainable" can kind of lessen the attraction.

I don't know though, it's kind of different for everybody. If you like him, and you're unsure if he feels the same way, my advice to you is to kind of lay back and play it coy. People are attracted to challenges. Guys are typically unattracted to clingy behavior (although not always of course).

If you're dead set on telling him you miss him, try to kind of play it down or make light of it.

Maybe kind of even turn it into a little joke somehow. If you know he feels the same way, just straight up tell him. But don't get too mushy or anything, lol.

saying you miss him every chance you get times 2 or 3, that's obnoxious.

don't worry about telling him you wish he was around every once in a while.
