Why does this guy double/triple text?

I dates this guy for about a month last year and things ended badly (just awkward), but he still texts me sometimes after he sees me in public and when I don't respond, he just continues to text and get annoyed at my silence. And when I don't answer his text (I never will) I might get this message next - "?" or "hello?" or "guess I won't bother you anymore then." Sometimes maybe all three messages by the end of the day.

He just makes himself look psycho. Why would a guy do something that so obviously makes him look bad?

Lol he probably likes you. But lol why did you give him your phone #. Hears what I always do when I want to get rid of someone. First in like a note section of your phone type in, "I'm sorry but the number you have attempted to reach is invalid". Then as soon as he texts you copy that from your notes section and send it. Then continuoiusly send this, eventually he's going to think you changed your phone number lol good luck!!! :)

Well I get pretty annoyed when people don't reply and probably do a similar thing. I wouldn't exactly say he likes you. If he did, he would try to play it cool and not look like a freak talking to no one. Of course there's always the possibility that he does like you, however in all honesty I think he might just be frustrated.
