It seems in this generation that the "ideal" body type is gettting bigger. Women with large breats, a large butt, and a curvier figure are now seen as attractive.
I have no problem with curvy women. However, when it gets to the point of being unhealthy it becomes a problem.
It saddens me to see that the media has become "If you're thin, you automaticaly have an eating disorder".
Because of recent movements in the media, girls everywhere are getting the idea that it's okay to be large and have rolls of fat.
I am definitely opposed to anorexia as well. Either end of the scale isn't healthy.
However, 200 people die every year of anorexia, while 800 die every day of obesity-related illness. (In the US).
It should be women who are strong, eat healthy foods, and excersize every day that we are looking up to. According to the Centers for Disease Control and prevention, Adult bodies need 2.5 hours of physical/arobic activity every day.
This is what we need to see more of:
Every woman is born differently. Some of us are naturally thick, other are naturally thin. It's time to realize that as long as you are active, every woman is beautiful.
This might sound mean, but if you look like this, I think it's time to stop referring to yourself as "curvy" and start realizing you are at risk of many health problems.
Please ladies, it's time to stop bashing each other's bodies and just be the best version of ourselves/out bodies as we can be.
