Run and lift weights. If you can afford it, get some sort of weight-training machine that will let you work your arms and legs. If not, there are weight training programs out there that will allow you to use your own body weight. They won't take you as far, but they're good starting out.
Remember: Weight is a matter of pounds. Looking good is a matter of exercise. Ignore scales. If you're doing things properly, you will actually gain weight while losing dress sizes.

Use this website to determine how many calories you need to lose weight. Do cardio work (walking, riding bike, swimming) everyday preferably an hour.
I'm in the same boat! Start off by getting some 3 lb weights from target and lift. For cardio I recommend dancing in your room to a playlist 30 minutes long. Thats where I really saw results. Also try the app called "Lost it" it really helps! good luck.
