Do girls notice how much a guy eats?

I've heard that women notice how much a man eats. Eating a lot is masculine, while eating little is a lack thereof?

I eat very little and very slowly, and I'm not in a rush to change this: I live in the fattest city of one of the fattest nations during the fattest period in history.

But I would like to verify if this is true. Does eating little make a man appear meek?

Guys eating whatever they want doesn't bother me, I actually fine it kind of cute when a guy has no shame.
Guys that eat little make me think that they are girls.
I know this is wrong but that's how I think. Also I'm just saying guys that eat a lot are ok, as long as they aren't extremely obese. They exercise and are active, healthy people can eat and I am ok with that.

All I know is my boyfriend consumes 3x as much food as I do. I don't attribute that to "masculinity" I attribute that to the fact that he has 13 inches and 100 lbs on me.

In the beginning of our relationship he tried to make me eat as much and as often as he did. I had to draw his attention to our size difference lol

My only experience in this subject is when my friend and I were at a restaurant and he ordered 2 plates of food. He is a very fit dude and the waitress said she likes it when a guy eats a lot.

...but part of me wonders if she would've said that (or even thought it) if my friend looked like Chris Christie

well, that's the only experience I can remember, at least... I know plenty of girls have commented about how much I eat (usually a lot), but never in regards to if its masculine or not. More like "you at all that? wow!"

oh, also I remembered a time i was at a restaurant w/ my other friend and I had about 3 bites of my burger left, but i was just way overstuffed. I asked for a to-go box and the waitress mockingly said "you can't eat that?" ...so i finished it. =\
