Are you sure you wouldn't like it eventually once you can put a different style of jewelry in there? If you're absolutely positive you don't want it, take it out now. The sooner you take it out, the better it will heal. Just keep washing as if the jewelry were in there. I use sea salt in water. Put it in a measuring cup, or other comparable container, flip it on your stomach and lay there holding the seal tight so the liquid is free to move on/around/thru the piercing.
That's a good idea. Take it out now and you will prevent it from becoming a scar or a permanent hole. I have had many piercings in my life and I had hip surface piercings and though they looked cool at the beginning, I had them for only 6 months and now I have scars, tiny, but still they will never go away, so there goes my chance for a flawless skin in the future.
well you can just take it out clean it and then cover it with a bandage. clean and replace the bandage daily. the sooner you do it the faster it will heal.
The sooner you take it out the better chance it will heal without a hole. Just keep it clean to prevent any infection.
