A lot of the over the counter drugstore products designed for acne are also designed to keep you coming back (e. g. they clear up your acne a bit but have a delayed effect so that if you stop using the product the acne comes back-sometimes worse!). Also I would DEFINITELY stay away from proactive products. It clears acne up amazingly BUT it makes your skin much much much worse once you stop using the product (which again, is the way they designed it to be). If you suffer from cystic acne I highly suggest going to a dermatologist for it, or at least your regular dr. And if it is cystic that you are dealing with, it certainly won't clear up that fast (it took 9weeks on a derm medication for me to get rid of mine). If its just regular hormonal acne that you're worried about, just stick to regular face washes/moisturizers and dont pick at your acne or cover it up too much with makeup (you need to cleanse it twice daily-morning and night- and let it breathe).

Too many products could actually irritate your skin more, so I wouldn't clean more than usual, maybe just an additional mask. Honey is really good for clearing up redness and is a natural antibacterial, I seriously recommend it to anyone on here with skin concerns haha. I had a stress breakout that cleared within 3 days of doing a honey mask morning/night for 30 minutes.
Just don't put any foundation/concealer on, keep the pimples clean and eat really well. Stay away from dairy and processed foods as those can have a negative effect on the skin for some people. Good luck! :)
Do me a favor girl just...clear that shit. Clear the Clearasil and the Proactiv also, I used both of that shit for 5+ years and it didn't do shit.
Here, just use these two products:

Followed by Aveeno Lotion:

Used to have bad acne back in my teen years, searched products for over 5 years until I discovered this combination. I've been Acne Free for over 10 years. Still use this shit to this day, give it a try, you'll thank me later.

Just keep in mind that if you overdry your skin, it will just make it worse. I get some acne if I don't keep my skin clean. What works well for me is showering before I go to bed and changing my sheets often so I'm not sleeping on dirty sheets. I also use a Yardley oatmeal soap because it doesn't stick to your skin or make it feel as oily as some of the other hard soaps out there. I go with Neutrogena body wash, Ives green tea scrub as far as acne treatment goes. When I do get zits I use the clearasil fast acting cream. The gel doesn't work as well.
I usually use tea tree oil for random bouts of acne. I put one drop of tea tree oil on a Q-tip and apply it onto the acne/scar and let it soak up the oil. By the next morning the acne spot is nearly flat and the redness is almost gone.
Although tea tree oil can irritate the skin, so if you have particularly sensitive skin then I would mix one drop of tea tree oil with water to dilute it.putting pure Aloe Vera on your skin for twenty minutes every other night works for me and I love because it fades dark marks as well.
Mix some white toothpaste with honey and put it on ur face for 10 minutes. its def gonna kill ur acne
