Does anyone have stretch marks?

Will they ever go away?

I've had some stretch marks on my inner thighs since I was about 16. My weight has never changed throughout my teens/adult life and I am active so I have no idea how I got them.

They aren't noticeable 100% of the time but I'm still self conscious about them. I've used vitamin E and cocoa butter but nothing makes them go away. I'm afraid it's just how my skin is and I'm scared now that I'll get them if/when I have kids.

I believe they offer it at some planet fitness gyms with a black gym card ($20 a month plan)-- called "Total Body Enhancement" and includes vibrating to promote healing after a workout. Definitely great for your skin. Noticeably reduces scars, stretch marks, acne and wrinkles. Just requires money and time commitment (e. g. 30 minutes 5 days a week for a month).

I know the general consensus is "Who cares!", but you care. And that's what matters. There is a way of getting better skin, this is it. You should definitely give it a try, before living a full life insecure about your skin when it could've been remedied if you weren't encouraged by bad advice to just deal with it emotionally.

I hope you give this a try. Continually bettering our physical appearance and health, is a practice that strengthens our mental and social health as well.

I used to be almost 400lbs... so yes I definitely have stretch marks.

But I "own my baggage".

I don't stress about them... because others have lesser imperfections that they worry MORE about than I do mine.

I doubt it. I have some stretch marks on my inner thighs too. I've tried a couple of things as well, but nothing has really worked for me either. At this point, I don't even care.
When you're pregnant, I've heard that rubbing your belly every day with some kind of oil/lotion will help a little. But I think that a few stretchmarks are inevitable when you're pregnant. Your belly grows so fast within just 9 months, which means that the skin NEEDS to stretch out quickly. But won't it be worth it? I mean, you'll have a baby. Stretch marks should be the last thing on your mind at that point.
Everyone has stretch marks somewhere. Who cares! Skin in general isn't perfect. Everyone has their flaws. Just let it go and stop caring.

I've got stretch marks on the back on my thighs in the exact same way you have -never gained or lost weight it's just from normal growth. Mine have never gone and I'm 22 now but I've never made an effort to get rid of them, they were obvious as a teen but now they're flesh coloured and not very visible. Most people have stretch marks somewhere and no one seems to care so it's never been something I've worried about

That's not something to be self conscious about. It's totally irrelevant. Of all the skin flaws (if you can even call it a flaw) a girl can have, that's the one that doesn' take away from her beauty whatsoever.

errr most people have got stretchmarks.. its due to growth/weight gain/weight loss.. cocoa butter/vit E will make the skin look more smooth but i've heard the way to rid of em' is to make use of lasers

nope, no one on GAG has stretch marks. No one has pores either. We all look like manekins =)

Yeah I do from bodybuilding and just put some bio oil on them and they should clear up :)
