I don't know about others (I did not bother to gather this kind of information), but I'm actually not hairy at all on my chest (no hair at all!) but my legs and apparently everything below my stomach line is hairy as hell. I trim it and it's still a silly quantity, I hate it but I won't shave it because that's just scary. So I'm pretty sure I have more hair there than I wish, that's certain.
Yeah, mine is pretty hairy too. Then again, my legs are also really hairy. I'm guessing you should just look at the legs and if they're not very hairy the butt probably won't be either. Not sure though as I'm a straight guy so I don't know about other guys' butts :P

Sometimes, but we're usually too busy talking to the person next to us, looking for one of our shoes, asking around for deodorant because we forgot our own and I could go on like this for hours. Generally a quick look at those regions is okay but if you really check them out it's just a matter of time before everyone thinks you swing the other way. Now that we're at it, I've always wondered: How is that for girls? Do you compare your bodies with other girls (breats, butt, hips, stomach, perhaps other body parts) and do girls mind looking at eachother like that? Maybe I should just open a question for that haha
Yes we do but it's the same with guys - you don't want to stare too long. Most of the time, if I see a woman with nice boobs or butt, I will admire her not be jealous so much. I think the female body is beautiful. But most women are very catty and competitive. You should post a question like that, if be interested in what women have to say!

Most guys have heavier "butt fuzz" than girls yes. It can always be removed, and guys should trim their hair around their scrotum if they plan on having sex. No one wants a mouth full of pubes, it's just being considerate.

I joke around about having a hairy butt, but in reality my ass is pretty smooth. As far as ass hair goes, I have hair on my perineum and a little in my lower butt crack near my anus, but my checks are hairless as is my upper butter crack/lower back. I'm not all that hairy and I don't shave.
