Although Ebola Zaire (Mayinga Ebola Strain), which is the form of Ebola causing the current epidemic has a 90% mortality rate, the issue here is my socioeconomic than medical. The mortality rate of the current epidemic is 60%, because of advances in medicine. The filoviruses are spread via blood and other bodily fluids, but only while symptomatic. The problem is that people are not getting the proper isolation and treatment at crucial times, because of misconceptions among the communities affected, as well as poor hygiene and education in such areas. Until those issues are cleaned up, the current epidemic is here to stay.
Two American missionary's are in Liberia fighting for their life's stricken with the Ebola virus
Yes very scary the one American is showing
slight improvements but all still serious condition
also 2 more Americans are in isolation showing
signs of the Ebola also they had a scare in
North Carolina Hospital which they thought
were patients thought to have the Ebola
but i think it was just scare i think the
President needs to pull all of American
people out of Liberia and suspend temporary
travel over there , Well two missionary's went
over there knowing them people were very
sick so
It makes me angry that they're planning on bringing two infected patients to America for treatment. I don't care if they're Americans; they knew the risks involved. Let them die over there.
There's a lot of viruses there that are killing people. This isn't surprising and it won't be the last

I am and I've been following this outbreak for quite a few months. It's scary. They said they were containing it but always one week later it would spread further and further and kill more and more.
I hope to God they can contain this. People really don't understand how serious Ebola is. It can effect ALL of us. As soon as that virus hits a major population center, things are going to get out of hand REALLY quick. Why isn't this getting more media attention?
What CAN we do? If there's a collection some will put in their change and feel like they have done something. But honestly most people are broke or not rich enough to try and make a difference. The best anyone CAN do, is not spread it anymore and kill more innocents.
Well there is survive or die and there is also the CDC as well as missionary's bringing things like medical supplies to the country not much more we can do besides that.
Just as aware as I am of the Zionist regime wiping out part of humanity.
And? Its called mother nature. Or survival of the fittest.
Why are you so insensitive? Just saying.
Because death is a part of life, a human dies every second or more. Do you expect everyone to sympathize with them? Billions of humans have died in the history of humanity, should we shed a tear for them as well? No. Stop giving so much of a fuck about things that don't affect you... yet.
i am actually my aunt was talking about it this Afternoon
I've heard of it before but i had no idea the specialist died though haven't really heard about it on the news lately the worlds focused on gaza

Ebola has been going around parts of Africa for years if not decades, this is nothing new.
Very aware. This is actually its 3rd (and most severe) outbreak.
