It's not normal. How long has this been happening? How many days do your periods last? The average is 4-7 days. What about cramping and bloating, is it really bad? There may be something more serious going on like endometriosis, poly cystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids (benign tumours in the uterus), or something else. I would suggest talking with your family doctor or gynecologist, and hopefully the can do an ultrasound or some blood work to see what's up.

I had the same problem! I went on the pill and it helped me so very much! If you can't go on the pill, try using tampons and pads at the same time to prevent leakage. Also try to change them every hour if you can, it will help prevent bleeding through. Carry extra leggings and panties with you in your purse just and case!!!

I think you should get checked out by a doctor first just to be safe but it could just be a case if having a heavy flow it's very common happens to a lot of girls going on birth control pills can help to regulate and balance you periods so maybe you should ask a doctor what he thinks about that as well
Go to doctors they'll give you medication its what I got given. They are birth control pills but yeah
See your doctor just to rule out any menstrual disorders. Some girls just bleed heavy. Birth control pills help :)
As for the prescription drugs interaction thing ask your doctor. I agree you should see a doctor - that's not normal.
What absorbency do you use and how quickly do you leak through it?
