I've seen some serious photo shopping done just for a thigh gap and I think it's kinda overrated, especially if you're already skinny.

Guys, is it a turn on, a turn off, or you don't care?

Girls, is it a goal for your thighs not to touch, or do you think it's dumb?

I didn't know it was a thing till I saw it on the internet. Never in real life have I seen a guy say "OMG she doesn't have a thigh gap, let me not date her". I'm naturally skinny and have a thigh gap myself but it has done absolutely nothing for me in terms of getting more guys or attention. Hell, I don't even think people notice it or think about it in every day real life. It is overrated yes.

The whole thing is absolutely idiotic. It is like whether a guy has a 6" or 7" penis. Is this really going to change anyone's life? A year ago I dated a woman who was super sexy and had a thigh gap. It made ZERO difference to me. Next thing you know we will be discussing the shape of a woman's elbow.

It's stupid so so stupid. I really wanted it and i couldn't get it. And this summer i got skinny (92lbs) and now I have a thigh gap but I have still a very low self-esteem. Boys are right to say that we are are dumb sometimes. We always want what we dont have.

I think It's stupid. I don't have a thigh gap, I have a little bit of acne, my teeth aren't the whitest, and I only have B cup boobs, I have a chubby tummy - and yet I'm still told very often I'm hot and asked out by guys and the obvious one - If I'll send nude pics. All by guys I actually know in real life. I think it's ridiculous how much attention stupid things like this get.

I feel the same way. I'm kinda thick in my lower body but it suites me. I live in the south and guys generally like thick girls anyway. I was just wondering what real people think about the media spreading this new image.

TBH I thought 'thigh gaps' were just the latest over-sensationalized fake moral panic whipped up by the media to scare parents into thinking their children are in danger from 'unrealistic expectations' in order to generate more advertising revenue.. do any real people care about it?

I don't care. I think thigh gaps can be fixed by leg exercises, whether you want to consider it or not, I still don't care. Health however entails that the body conforms to its optimal state, I only date healthy people.

She shouldn't have legs that are so thin that she looks like she doesn't eat, but she shouldn't have legs to the point where she looks like she could bench press me with ease... I'm 120 lbs and only 5'7". All of my weight is in body weight, not muscle

Thigh gaps have been drilled into girls heads that it is a good thing, because of all the models and photo shopping that has been done, and is now in our modern society. No girl needs a thigh gap, if anything, it would be extremely unhealthy and ugly if you forced yourself to try and get one.

I figured out it was a thing this year mainly from talk shows pointing out bad photo shop jobs on girls' thighs. And I noticed it was a pattern when I shopped for jeans online

Turn on for me, my girlfriend has one and I love it but that doesn't mean that if someone didn't have one I wouldn't love their thighs, I just love thighs in general :D
