What is the best treatment for a mosquito bite?

What's best to stop the itching? How long does it take for the bite to go away entirely? Can something be done to speed up the healing?

Make a cross in it with your fingernails. That should make it itch less. There are also small vacuum pumps available at your local drug store which you can use if you've just been bitten. It'll even make it go away. Also works with bee's wasps and fish stings.

I don't know if there is a way. But surely you could just put up with it for a day or two?

I'm severely reactive and I get horrible itching and big red welts that often leave scars, even though I don't scratch them. I will do my best. Thanks :)

Alcohol. It takes days to go down. But it stop itching in a couple hours.

Don't scratch and put rubbing alcohol on it
